We were at this show and it was great, so much fun to see this fantastic band again (4 times, and counting!). Please come back to the DC area again soon!
I really love BT. So much. The mix on this recording does them a tremendous disservice. I'm sorry to insult the wound engineer, and it must be really tough, but they needed a better sound check - as each instrument enters the song (including backup vocals) they are all way off balance for the first 5 to 10 seconds. Maybe the engineer did an amazing job actually, because it's probably very hard to do live, and as I said it only took 5 or so seconds to get the mix right as each sound came in. I don't know. It sounded so rough on the first song, but as it continued it was better and better. God damn I love this band.
@@tylerbowman7814 I bet it was amazing live! Honestly I started my comment too soon. It was only the first song that was a problem, and only as each instrument/vocal came in. I was wrong to judge so harshly.
Gotta agree with you Kevin. It could have been better. But the best sound engineer BT ever had, Nate Vanderpool, is now part of the band. And killing it at that, I must say. 🤍

I was at this show, the mix was a lot better in person (though I think Black River Killer and the other later songs sound pretty good in this vid)!
