I've made a pumpkin cake+flan twice in the past two weeks and twice the flan came out too smooshy. 1st time I followed the "recipe" knowing by the video that it would be off yet gave it a try 🤦 2nd time I tweaked it to what usually works for my chocoflan (still not good enough) ... Just by watching YOUR ingredients I already know what I did wrong. I had already planned on tweaking it as so but your video just reassured me ♥️Thank you so much chica !!!

This is a little different, but I’ve made flan in an instant pot before really successfully. I have some of those stacking steel containers with lids that you can put in the instant pot. Put an inch or so of water in the bottom. It cooks pretty fast. Let it cool slowly so it doesn’t crack.
@@marespin65 there are a couple of videos on RUclips. Some en español. I looked up “instant pot quesillo”. I lived in Venezuela for two years and the women there made amazing flan like this that they called quesillo. You might have to make it and test it out. :-) It should be pretty forgiving. Good luck! I might try to make one like this with pumpkin!
