Banjara market is not that cheap, couple of years back, may be like 6-7 year back it was cheap. Once that location got developed in gurgaon, banjara market became home center price market. 😛

Banjara and all such thrift markets are not cheap anymore because all influencers have polished the shopkeepers egos and glamourized them. the rates are 100-200% more now compared to 2019.
Not to hate or anything but you guys were happy that Home center is offering discount even though it wasn't much but you were happy to bargain at Banjara. matlb brands mein bargaining krty acha nahe lagta but flee markets mein ja kar bargain krne mein fakhar krtey hein. great hogya
now you see there r quality issue in flee market and exchange issue you cant deny that,,i think thats why everyone bargain.and the sellers also put higher price too,and in brand little bit advantage a customer can get.nothing big but little bit ,thats why they became brand,,waha pain garib admi k sath atyachar aisa kuchh nehi..u might notice akansha's chopper board have some worm,ye tthey sell it in that place a brand cant do this,if so there are so many way to take step against them,in flee markets thats not possible,i think thats why everyone bargain
I partially agree with you, but just what I feel (I haven't done my research here so I might not be right as well) , don't you think in markets like Banjara, Sarojini etc, sellers mark up the price a lot knowing that the customers are going to bargain, they wouldn't really sell it if they are going to make a loss right? Even after the bargain, the price would come down to a profit for them, I'm assuming.
