That's true for many french people, but of course there is also a huge amount of us who do understand and read english. The likelihood of someone selecting both one of Bourgoin's book, and one of the books from the american authors Bourgoin plagiarized, is not that far fetched, if that person where both bilingual and interested in the subject of serial killers. That increased the opportunity to discover Bourgoin's deceit, but somehow he thought he was protected by the fact that he was the only french person able to speak english.... Which was a little presomptuous to start with. 2 - if, in the later years of his career, he hadnt felt the need to include over the top, dramatic elements to his narrative, he might have stayed under the radar for longer. But stories like that are just too wild to pass unnoticed on social media, and prompted many people to start doubting everything he said from then on. I remember the beginning of this fandom in the early 80s. It was interesting to read and talk about, but then I went to see "Henry" and I was so appalled , I was off the subject forever. The books of Ellroy are fascinating, but those are almost more documentaries of cultural history. The crimes move the books along but are not the author's real focus.
Dr. Grande, I'm glad you mentioned your book The Psychology Of Notorious Serial Killers 😯 Now all we need is an analysis on Todd Grande and Jason Michael Moss who wrote The Last Victim: A True-Life Journey into the Mind of the Serial Killer 😁

That's a unique suggestion. I'd love to hear what the Doc has to say about it.
That is a pretty good suggestion.
Oh wow !
I love this suggestion.
The song itself and the couple in it of course... but the idea in general.
Thanks!
A similar song... and so totally awesome in my mind, in Late Bush, Babooshka. She is just too amazing in the simple music video for her aong6, as well. Incredibly sexy and expressive.
It would appear this man, wanted to be notorious. If you lie enough, some people will start to believe it. With all the lies and plagiarism, his downfall, was a reality. Thank you Dr Grande. Brilliant analysis and topic.
Exactly! He told way too many false stories. If he had kept his lies to a minimum, they'd have stayed believable. But his ego wanted more and more adoration. He took things to far, and people started wondering. Such a dumb***.
How are you today, CT? ☺ 🌷🌷
@@LDiamondz Thank you, so true. My parents couldn't stand people who lied. Its so much the same in my family.
@@LDiamondz Thank you, I'm going good, hope you are. 😊🌷🌸🌹🍀❤
@@cottontails9003 Yeah, my parents couldn't stand liars or thieves. ( funny they never mentioned murderers) 🤔
@@cottontails9003 I'm glad you're doing well. ❤ I'm good, thank you! 😉 ⚘⚘⚘
Lol I nearly died when you pulled out your books. You just might be a killer after all
Best segue mentioning Dr. Grande's two books about serial killers! I laughed out loud and replayed it. I'm sold and bought Dr. Grande's books. Always love Dr. Grande's analysis and humour.
I have seen Stephane Bourgoin forever on French media, I always found him very creepy.
Le 4ème œil corporation did a fantastic job at uncovering his massive lies.
It kept me entertained during the lockdown in April/May 2020.
I have always wanted to understand nurture v nature and what makes a serial killer.. I went to school though and got my degrees in Forensic Psychology and Applied Behavior, not like this guy! 🙄😳
Definitely getting your books!!! Thanks Dr. G!! ❤️
Anybody else here a follower of "True Crime Rocket Science?" This fellow, Nick, plumbs the depth of cases like nobody else...
He never smiles, still, has a great sense of humor.
At the beginning of this video, actually thought, "Why didn't he mention his new book? 🤔" I should have known my favorite, clever youtuber knew what he was doing! Sorry I ever doubted you 🤣
He's a sharp one, alright!
Genuinely laughed when you tied in your books.
Hi Dr Grande, could you do a video on the halo effect? Thank you!
With a very straight face he asks "What kind of person writes books about serial killers?", and then proceeds to plug his two books... Dr. Grande, you are just the best!
The psychoanalysts are correct about the parents being the ones to blame. When I was a child, my father would bring home True Detective and True Crime magazines. This is why I now sit and watch Dr. Grande videos. Yes, another sad, wasted life, immersed in murder and horrific misdeeds.
Hahaja! That is a legendary segway 😂 9:41 there is a difference in being interested in how the mind works, and from wanting to carry out horrendous acts on humanity
Glad you did that one! Merci! Here it was a shock but the media didn't elaborate on it, wonder why... Sadly I doubt the french media learnt their lesson when it comes to select an "expert"...
Hi dr grande just saying hi again!!! Love your work keep it up don’t forget about Elizabeth Barraza
Your dry humour combined with your excellent explanations of complicated mental issues makes this channel one of my favorites. I believe you're a great thinker and with such an educated mind, your thoughts on these topics makes me feel better educated at the end.
9:31 LOL, that plug. No segway, just a straight pitch. Love it 👌
You crack me up Dr. Grande. What kind of person would write books on Serial Killers, indeed.
That shameless plug for your books was freaking hilarious. you continue to kick comedy's ass. bravo!
I might just be obsessed with that illuminated cactus in the background! ❤🌵❤
I’ll be checking my local book store for dr grande’s books now, they better have them
I love how you're taking about this and look quite a bit like the btk killer
I love the look on your face when you mention your serial killer books. Closest thing we get to a 'tell'.
Do you think you could talk about Edgar Allen Poe?
Hello fellow Dr Grande aficiandos, and a thank you for You Tube's hardest working Doctor 🌻🌵
I love the book plug 😂😂 super funny! I plan to buy myself both for Xmas
I loved Harm Reduction!!! Read it in one day❤
I remember the beginning of this fandom in the early 80s.
Hello, 👍
Be sure to thumbs up the video
@@chieflordbossking4707 I already did, as well as saved it as a favorite. Thanks for the reminder though.
Can't wait to download those books and glut myself on my serial killer psychology intrigue and Dr. Grande's brilliant wry wit
Hello, 👍
Be sure to thumbs up the video
"Please check out my two books on serial killers" . . . Dr. Grande has a line in every video that cracks me up. Well done.
“What kind of person writes a book about a serial killer?”
Well, it could be an autobiography.
Today's question is, "will Dr. Grande ever run out of people to not diagnose and just speculate about?" I think not. Please cover the Shafia family murders in Kingston, Ontario?🥸
Never - there's always gonna be new people.
Hello, 👍
Be sure to thumbs up the video
@@chieflordbossking4707 Hi sock account of Todd
theres 7 bil people on this planet, he can analyze away and not run out for ages
If it's not one thing, it's your mother. (A favorite quote I wish I could have authored.)
Can you do a case analysis on Aaron Joel Mitchell the guy that ran into the burning man fire? I am still perplexed about that tragedy.
I've really grown to like your analysis of so many subjects..question when did you realise you have one of the most unemotional voice and vocal tones I've every heard.. wicked post loved it
I now know I have something in common with many serial killers, for I have NEVER heard of this man before, either.
Dr. Grande has quickly become my favourite creator to listen to.
Dr Grande is a dry humor gold!! Rib splitting one when he held up those two books of his!!
I'm more shocked to find out Manson has a website with a administrator. Wow
I watched the documentary where he interviewed Gerard Schaefer. It was obvious he hadn't prepared a structured interview. He just waffled.
9:34 wow, I've never seen a better transition to an ad ever! Well played sir!
The good Doctor... makes me laugh..
Who would write about serial killers??
"Please check out my 2 books about serial killers" lol 😆 😂
I love how Dr Grande smoothly pulled out his own books just in between his analysis. Perfect timing. How was he able to lie for so long?
Nice to see you going the extra mile on decorations - the blue bulb addition really perks the room up.
LMAO! HAHAHHA! @ 9:38 !! I FELL ON THE FLOOR LAUGHING!! You crack me up! You're the best! Love your channel!
