the 2nd round was very creative, but I think it was not a round for battle I think it was more for an exhibition since I included many movements that did not have difficulty, nor strength to hit in battle. I even think that his 1st round for battle was much better for me, I think he won the 1st round, but not the 2nd one that JayK wins for me.
The thing i love about MT is his ability to just find ways to kinda groove/dance and enjoy himself when he's popping. It's so often that you'll see dancers nowadays who are technically proficient but have little if any sense of groove and enjoyment. It's okay to smile guys! I know it all seems serious when you're young and you want to win competitions/are scared of doing badly but it all comes down to how much of yourself you leave on the stage. People want to see smooth clean popping sure, but the real amazing shit comes from actually finding something of yourself in the music and making it seem like the music was made for YOU, not the other way around. They share the same point of view of what popping looks like to them. MT pop is something new and they couldn't wrap their heads around it and also they prefer "the real popping" and masculinity (Mt pop is kinda playful and cute)

When I read the title I thought Smooth and K were gonna get destroyed and of course Pop and Boogie delivered but I really wasn't expecting Smooth and K to do so well. I disagree with Smooth winning the tie breaker but I do agree with the tie decision cause Smooth won his first 2 rounds as did Pop IMO.
in this battle I think it was for slim boogie and mt pop without the extra round and there were also many battles of other participants that I don't know what the judges saw ... well this is a great event but most of the things around this year they were quite bad, the judges had many very debatable decisions, the DJ really was very bad put so many garbage songs and the rules of not putting a definite time of each round, there were enough rounds that became tedious because the participants were they were left for a long time ... hopefully improve those items for next year

If you look closely MT Pop is very creative, technical, and on point, but he lacks the vigor in his flow. That’s why he has lost a lot and everybody goes “what! He got robbed. That’s bullshit! Terrible judging” blah blah blah. Never looking at the big picture, and only looking at MT Pop’s ultra creative fascinating moves.
