mineral is an amazing band. the music is so original and creative and it actually takes talent to play. im only 14, so i wasnt born yet when mineral was going strong, but i really wish i was, because as a musician and a lover of music myself, its so damn annoying and sad to hear people singing that shit you hear nowadays on the radio like that "teach me how to dougie" bullshit. same goes for lady gaga and taio cruz and all those pathetic "artists." mineral should be listened to forever.
I want a Mineral T-Shirt and can't find one. I mostly like metal music (Mastodon, Between the Buried and Me) but this music is way awesome. I enjoy all their stuff.
this is great music, this is what emo is about, not being stupid and acting all sad for attention and cutting your wrists. even though there is a good bit of modern emo that is bad, some is pretty good, and a lot of underground and old school emo is great
@Spook All wanting one of their shirts means is that I really like this band and some of us just like to wear clothes of stuff we like and support the bands we listen to. Some people go to the mall and buy a shirt cause they like a brand, Well I like to wear shirts for the music I like because I am passionate about music. I don't care if you think I am "cool" or if you hate between the buried and me. Your loss I am glad you found a way to be so negative from a positive comment.

"Real Emo" is largely found in the early nineties and later parts of the eighties with bands such as Cap'n Jazz, Promise Ring, Sunny Day etc etc. Mineral is a good band though. It's funny how pointless classifying music is when you're amongst others who share the same taste and appreciation.
