    Wow thank you for this video!! As always amazing content, I do have one question tho,
    When you say 'set up my agency' I get confused because I'm a beginner and cannot really offer many packages. Also this 'your own website' that I will handle, what else will I post on it, just a page of ads of some page? Or is it a blog page like what page is that. Because I don't think you mean a landing page for said business.

    I've had this video on my "watch later" queue for a few weeks and I'm kicking myself I didn't watch it earlier. Great stuff, everyone.

    Where can find more info about Copy That!’s mentorship ($299)? Does it work for Short Form Financial copy and email?

    • @CopyThat
      @CopyThat  2 года назад +15

      Hey! Yes, two of our mentees are financial copywriters and one of them messaged me this very morning to tell me that he used an email writing technique I taught him to generate $8500 from just one email (shoutout to Brian!).
      We recently stopped offering the mentorship tier for a lot of reasons, though. I (Sean) explained why in detail on a recent stream on Twitch, but the two big reasons are: 1) Copy That isn't our main job, and in order to justify the number of hours we were spending with mentees, we would need to charge something like $900 per month. It was unsustainable. And honestly: it feels unethical and wrong to charge people that much unless they're already making enough money to justify and benefit from that cost.
      And that's related to reason 2) Newbies and folks just starting out really don't benefit from mentorship. Like, you don't need to pay us hundreds to learn what an email sequence is, how to write differently for different audiences, what goes in a headline complex. We give all that out for free on this channel! It makes no sense to get from us what you can get from a book or free youtube video. And even if you want to go deeper than the fundamentals: that's why we have the masterclasses in the $20 patreon tier. Mentorship really only makes sense when you're intermediate, making money, and your progress has stalled for a long time (in my opinion).
      Anyway, I hope that answers your question. Feel free to reach out or email us if you'd like to talk about it more. Regardless, good luck and thank you for watching!

    I’m totally joining the Patreon, your advice is amazing.
    If my business fits with your model described in this video (profitable business, don’t know how/don’t spend time to market effectively) - any chance you’re looking to add to your list of successes? 😊

      If not us, there are plenty of hungry marketers in the Patreon-linked Discord server to talk to about it. And the CT crew would be more than happy to lend advice and guidance to you and to them.

    Could I built the landing page directly on the website of the company ? Or is it better to build my own landing page / my own funnel ?

    • @CopyThat
      @CopyThat  2 года назад

      You can certainly build it for the company, but we (gently) recommend that you "own" the assets you build. That way if things ever don't work out with your partner? You can just redirect your assets/lead generation to their competitors.

      Are we spending everything from a PPC perspective? Or is it the client's PPC account?

    So, are you making the website and ads before you even contact the businesses and then offering them the traffic? Or are you contacting the businesses and telling them you can make them a website and PPC ads that you then own somehow?
    Or are you just making and owning the PPC ads and the landing page they lead to, with the client having their own website that visitors can get to from the landing page?

    • @CopyThat
      @CopyThat  Год назад +1

      The latter. And there's no "somehow" involved: If you build the website and create the ppc ad account, you own and have control over the assets (unless you come to some other arrangement with the prospective client).

    Is the patreon discord the same as public copy that discord?

    • @CopyThat
      @CopyThat  2 года назад

      There is no public Copy That! Discord. There's the Copywriting Collective, which is free for all and which we all frequent (and Alex owns). And there's the paid Copy That discord for patrons to communicate with us directly.
