To clarify your question at 0:49 - Bravely Second is the direct sequel to Bravely Default, with the same characters & world. Bravely Default II was a reboot of the series with a different world & different characters (after Bravely Second flopped... which is a shame, because the game ended with a "You'll see this character again in 'Sword of the Brave'", which ultimately never was made. Bravely Second: End Layer was.... alright. The game is a bit subtle on how to get to the true ending, and if you miss it... it'll be a while before your next chance to get there. Made that mistake myself.

Some of my favourite 3DS games in the video. I would have to add my personal favourite SMT Devil Survivor 2 record breaker. It needs to come out again, or a third entry in the devil survivor series. Also Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright needs to be on modern systems, the best cross over game I have ever played.

7th dragon 3 code vfd is one of my favorite games, i couldn't put it down even when I was studying for a exam ended up taking out multiple dragons between review questions.
Great list! As others have said, Radiant Historia should be on Switch already. I've always thought a multiplatform 3DS/Switch release right at the start would've worked well for it (the remake was originally planned for the PS Vita before being moved to the 3DS). as for other games, I'd also add the Untold versions of Etrian Odyssey I&II. While it's great the DS versions were remastered, the story mode and content differences in the Untold remakes are worth experiencing in their own right too!

Radiant historia would be a nice remaster with how expensive it is on 3ds! Stella glow has been one I've been looking out for! Can't really go wrong with atlus! 3ds really was a hot spot for jrpgs! Would love to see tales of the abyss remastered for mondren consoles!

I was never interested in the DS consoles but I did eventually get the 3DS but I came late into it which I regret now lol SMT V caught my attention when it came out but when I was watching the gameplay it just looked like you were running around an empty desert so I didn’t bother.

But you beat me to it! 😂 I also want radiant historia perfect chronology and Stella Glow to be on the switch. I agree that the 3DS fire emblem games should be on the switch too. Some of the games you didn’t mention that I wish were on the switch would be Fantasy Life, Yokai Watch, and Ever Oasis.

personally I care about the shin megami tensei games the most - especially Strange Journey and SMT 4+Apocalypse - because lots of things have been ported already: we have radiant hystoria.. legend of legacy... yggdra + dragon ogre... bravely 2... a couple fire emblems... what is buried with the DS is ATLUS games let's be honest. I am sure things would have gone differently if soul hackers 2 sold better. Persona q may come to switch considering the first 3 Etrian games already have a physical with English in Japan... Persona is indeed popular... And the Tales games too (abyss but also innocence and tempest only released in Japan).

OR ON the PS4 since DQ7's 3DS version I'd rather play it on the PS4 then on the switch but with the FF1 to 6 Pixel remasters cheats ie 4x exp/4x gold and while DQ7's JOBS use total BATTLES not AP/Tech Point/SP for job mastery a 4x BATTLE rate cheat would be useful since it would take a job that needs like 200 battles to MASTER it and reduce it DOWN to 50 total battles instead.
I think Sega has the rights to Stella Glow so if they will it, it might have chance....? Devil Survivor 2 is a bit of shame since the anime kinda flopped hard. Still a great game and one of my fav SRPG games of all time, even if it is a little too easy to *break* (sorry for the bad pun)

Sooo maybe you'll get your wish? Loved both Devil Survivor games, if Atlus had them as a $40 bundle on switch, day one buy. SMT3 is insanely hard yes good god, but SMT5 is way easier but its story and characters are an afterthough, weakest entry in that regard sadly. Maybe try SMT4 Apocalyse? Dying in that game is part of its story mechanics

Octopath traveller2 seems to have a similar combat and job system to the first 2 bravely games.
