Pick-a-Brick cup volume is 475cm3 + 30cm3 (lid) = 505cm3. A 2x4 Lego brick is 2.48cm3. So at best, you could fit 505 / 2.48 = 203 bricks in a container with such a volume (but clearly not that shape...). The scooped solution with 56 bricks is super inefficient (25%), but the stacked solution still leaves the cup half empty!
laggmaster0 I don't think they support my country in Amazon actually. And after my relatives accounts have been hacked and used to purchase things, I would like to keep my wallet away from the Internet.
Aren't you supposed to close the lid? This is cool, if this works, but I wouldn't be amazed to see the store owners asking you to remove the top layer so you can close the jar.
what i would do is leave out the top layers and fill it with studs or something small then shake it a little bit to get them to got in the small gaps down th side to get as much as possible in but idk ive never been to a lego store
Thank you it helps so much when you use diffrent colors for visuals. Appriciate it

I was in the London store.Saw a bloke loading this way.I have tons of the 2x4.they had multiple colours of the 4x4 flats,6 of each!stuck em together, and they're up the centre. But the wall is for unusual stuff.Red lava, white tooth etc.I got 592 bricks in a large tub.(8 wheel axles, that's a quid, there!)Just need to find out when they change the selection. It really is such fun, except for those pesky kids!
They deffinetly allow us to do that in Canada. My lego store even helps you tape it down lol. It's all for fun right? They would rather see the customer happy then be a sticker
So if you get one large cup for 16$ it will get you 167 pieces and if you get small cups for that many bricks it will be 3 of them for 24$ so definitely do the large if you are going for a ton of bricks
They just reopened the PAB wall at the Lego store down the street (yeah it’s walking distance 😇) and I’m going to use my rewards vouchers to get a couple large cups today.
In the Philippines, We need to buy the weight not the cup so we cant fit many if you want to pick a brick at the lego store. They dont even have Bricks! (all bricks except for 1x1) I buyed 100 grams for just P675.75 ( Probrably about 13$)
the sales associate always laughs so hard, I tell them that the round cup is a rip and they agree, it should be made so you can get what your looking for, and the best way to achieve getting what you want
Your method is flawed in the fact that if you use your method you cannot get the lid on. The lid must fit back on. Still a good efficient method but not 167 if you want to fit the lid on but close and still worth it.
pick a brick is the 2nd best way to get Lego, yes you get more then your money's worth, but the wall is pre determined, and may not have what you need. Bricklink is for the patient man
Beautiful! This summer I visited the first LEGO store ever! This was over at Disneyland Paris and I just say WOW! What a fun store and so much items and sets to buy.. Oh man! I got in contact with LEGO afterwards asking for a shop in Stockholm, Sweden and it has been thought of, so hopefully we will get a store here soon as well =D Anyhow, just wondering what the prices are for those cups. I can vaguely remember a price of €17.99 EUR? Should translate to around USD $19-20.. Is that what any of those cups costs? As I said, it was a few months ago now, so I don't really remember. But saving $.25 for a cup doesn't seem much, at least with a USD $19-20 pricetag. So that's why I'm asking, as it should be much cheaper? =D Anyhow, great video and thanks for sharing this wonderful technique!
+Herman Dahlgren I know, its totally awesome! I was there day after opening and received this special limited edition train set :D Really nice! Also bought the Simpson house finally and the Ghostbusters Ecto :D
+LittleBigTube10 - Thanks for the reply! Well I checked after I wrote the comment above and we got a price per big cup of 199 SEK which is around USD $22... Or around GBP £16.. Its insane.. the price is 54 SEK more expensive than your place.. Its not fair, why do Swedes have to pay so much more!? Sure, its not a lot of money.. once.. But if you want to buy several cups or like once a week or twice a month.. It does stack up and begins to be a lot more money spent than in the US or UK..
Definitely more cost efficient organization in the store than shopping for PAB online... and you don't have to wait forever for your bricks to be shipped. It's good ol' cash and carry.
1st of all, Lego Stores in Hong Kong won't allow you to do that. Maybe due to Hong Kong's status of Asia World City, the prices of Pick A Brick are much more expensive than in the US. A large PAB cup costs you around 25 US Dollars. So, DON'T DO PAB in Hong Kong!!!
Disney land also has a pick a brick store so I will do it when I go to Disney land... That just sounds odd. Also every keeps talking about the cat eating a cactus but it's just a joke
This should be called "How to accidentally make the LEGO store start pricing bricks by weight instead of cup volume."
Hah! ... Alternatively, "how to make sure that the lady at the counter gives you a suspicious look out of the corner of her eye (i.e. side-eye)" 🤓
lol rofl
Lmfao

I really miss Lego. But in my country the prices are just insane, sometimes they really can be more than twice of what they are in the US.
+spartanB0292 Why don't you order them from amazon then?
laggmaster0 I don't think they support my country in Amazon actually. And after my relatives accounts have been hacked and used to purchase things, I would like to keep my wallet away from the Internet.
+spartanB0292 Where do you live? And I don't think your account will get hacked if you order stuff from amazon.
+laggmaster0 In the Philippines. And by account, I mean PayPal. Which is what I assume you use to buy stuff on Amazon with?
+spartanB0292 Amazon and Paypal are entirely separate entities. You can't use Paypal on Amazon, either.
Aren't you supposed to close the lid? This is cool, if this works, but I wouldn't be amazed to see the store owners asking you to remove the top layer so you can close the jar.
marazo nope
Yeh supposed to close lid
They taped my cup top on without giving me any problems and were cool
Brick link 500 for bricks for under 50 shipped
A lot of stores make you close the lid, so that won’t work.
I’ve managed to get 135 in a large cup with the lid closing.
With the small amount of extra space there is I would fill it with some studs or other small pieces.
Actually, if the lid doesn't touch the top of the cup, my store says that's invalid.
what i would do is leave out the top layers and fill it with studs or something small then shake it a little bit to get them to got in the small gaps down th side to get as much as possible in but idk ive never been to a lego store
3:54 add little pieces like 1x1 bricks and spheres or stuff like that
In our Lego Stores you wont get these shown cups. They always say, the cover must touch the pot
I luckily have a Lego store an hour away from me in new orleans
Most efficient is buying 2 small cups, beacause 1 large cup has 167 pcs, small cup has 102. 2 x 102 = 204
Thank you it helps so much when you use diffrent colors for visuals. Appriciate it

Thanks for the instructions! Super useful to us AFOL's 🤓
We are not allowed gaps in the top of the cup like that in the UK. Well my store anyway! They make you shut the lid so its sealed.
When I was in England at the Manchester store, they didn't seem to care that the lid wasn't closing
Same her in DK. At has to snap closed.
***** When I was in Paris they allowed a gap similar to this but not in the UK.
@Sheffield LUG Hong Kong does not allow this too
They deffinetly allow us to do that in Canada. My lego store even helps you tape it down lol. It's all for fun right? They would rather see the customer happy then be a sticker
Thanks! I really need a lot of 2x4 for my battlefield zavod 311 MoC. Know I can probably finish it with half the money
Really u R making Zavod 311
+Titot Pedorrito yes , but it's a classified project. Probably going to be finished in June
+4REALgamingPR omg I love battlefield is it done?
I need a lot of 2x4 for one of my MOCs also.
4:04 and 5:10, What the cat?!
It’s eating a cactus
Also fill the small gaps with small or thin pieces
would they let you do this?
I need about 1,000 2x4 for my next moc for filler bricks so this help me more than you think
Have you tried to do the small cup technique in the bigger cup?
So if you get one large cup for 16$ it will get you 167 pieces and if you get small cups for that many bricks it will be 3 of them for 24$ so definitely do the large if you are going for a ton of bricks
poor cat biting that cactus
Finally Legocap there has been a ton of videos I had to skip just to wait for legocap
4:04
Anyone else see a cat eating a cactus?
yep
Ta
weirdly yes my cats do this
Tactical Lego brick storage ! This is pretty damn cool, never knew this sorta thing existed
They just reopened the PAB wall at the Lego store down the street (yeah it’s walking distance 😇) and I’m going to use my rewards vouchers to get a couple large cups today.
So good I’ll defently use this. But when I buy a cup I never have a bare code on it🤔?
about 4:03 hi kitty cat :)
Our store sells them by weight
I live near garden state so there’s barely any LEGO stores but there’s one less then 10 minutes away!
Nice, mine is in a mall a 20 minute drive away, I’ve never used the pick-a-brick wall because it’s a scam in my opinion
Redo this video correctly. All the stores I've been to require the lid to snap shut.
Paul Hvidston Not mine, they taped it on to stay shut lol
And, you can also put a lot of small stuff between those 4*2, ang get even more bricks
Hey level you should do some videos on the motorized Lego sets, that would be awesome!
I think you just made..... A Brick vault :D
ar you allowd to make the lid not fit in Lego stores?
I love how everybody is complaining about not having a lego store near them, I'm extra lucky! I have 2 lego stores 2 hours away from me!
Wow, I feel bad for you I have Europe's biggest Lego store 20 minutes away from me
lego_ww2_23 have fun :)
xUnknownSoldazx I go to it once a week and spend all my pocket money
I have one at a local mall
@@legoclone2005 where is it?

On Brazil 2....😭😭😭😭 lego pieces here dont exists we need to travel to the US to buy more...in brazil we only have pieces pf s***
and ireland
Awesome Fajitas I was just going to say that, the nearest one we have I in London
Quick question anyone know if they can accept if even with this method because it is clearly have gone for then enough to close the cap on it
Doesn't that mean here in the UK the smaller cups are more cost effect. 0.078 per brick vs the larger cup is 0.089 per brick.
My store let’s me tape the cap down if it doesn’t fit but how much is the big and smalls?
I took the picture but got a picture of a cat eating a cactus. Why? (you're doing a great job Levelcap, keep it up :3)
In the Philippines, We need to buy the weight not the cup so we cant fit many if you want to pick a brick at the lego store. They dont even have Bricks! (all bricks except for 1x1) I buyed 100 grams for just P675.75 ( Probrably about 13$)
How much are the different size cups at a US Lego store? How much is the filling of the cups?
the sales associate always laughs so hard, I tell them that the round cup is a rip and they agree, it should be made so you can get what your looking for, and the best way to achieve getting what you want
Your method is flawed in the fact that if you use your method you cannot get the lid on. The lid must fit back on. Still a good efficient method but not 167 if you want to fit the lid on but close and still worth it.
Now we're going to see signs, no building with Lego Pick-a-Brick, place in cup and check out!
will they let you fill it up that much?
Why at 5:10 is there a cat biting a cactus???????
Hahahahaha. That is so great.
Da_Epic _Gamer oh yeah!!!! well noticed
Cool
Rebel Brick Productions w
Because cats are stupid... obviously
Is that levelcap??
you see why i ♥ legos =)
YOU HAVE TO CLOSE THE LID IN HONG KONG'S STORES. The employees are trained to care about this matter. So this strategy is invalid in Hong Kong.
I have heard of changes that say that you are supposed to have a diverse box of bricks instead of the same piece many times. Is that true?
+PieCheeseGuy Nope. Gone to the store multiple times and got nothing but entire cups of 2x4s, 2x1s, and 4x4 plates
I thought you had to be able to close the lid
what about the lid? is it ok for the lid to be open like you have it?
Yes for 2022.
do they let you buy it when the cup isn't touching the lid
No
Just change the top 2x4s for 2x2s or 2x3s
Where did the seven come from the cup.
how much is one big cup
Love your videoes.
pick a brick is the 2nd best way to get Lego, yes you get more then your money's worth, but the wall is pre determined, and may not have what you need. Bricklink is for the patient man
and will have ANY piece you could desire, assuming you know the parts' code or dimensions and name of the element
How munch is pick a brick cost
My LEGO store doesn't put a sticker on my cups :/
I'm probably going to stack a layer of bricks for studs and small stuff

1st of all, Lego Stores in Hong Kong won't allow you to do that.
