Probably, never tried. Only issues that might occur doing that is the possibility for corrosion buildup in the connectors, and that you could maybe get a fault message since the flap motor then becomes disconnected
there's no difference when you have flap open anymore,if it's comfort / sport etc, you have exhaust flap open for both sides now. did mine almost the same.I removed the motor, switched the spring onto open position ,bolted on the motor again ( flap exhaust motor ) and zip tied the metal spring that rotates flap to a metal holder , and that's about it.
May I know the pros and cons of doing this? Why there’s a flap to close it all the time?
Can I instead use Bimmerlink to open then flaps and just disconnect the connector to keep them open?

Dont think there is any difference. Some modela have artificial sound which is enhanced in the cabin in Sport I believe
