In this video we unbox, assemble, and first test this miele c2. If you want an easy to use light and super quiet vacuum you need this miele. YOU NEED THIS MIELE! I am in love with it it is so quiet. Bothers me too. My Titan may even be shorter, though I'm not sure. It's either shorter or the same size. But surprisingly I can still do the areas I need to without changing plugs.
Yes, I really wish it had a longer cord. All I need is 20 feet more... a total of 40 feet would be good for vacuums of this price range, then I could clean the whole downstairs from 1 plug in the center of the house. My Kirby has the 50 ft cord and that’s great to have! But sadly my Kirby needs repair. I have used it until the emptor won’t stay attached anymore.
Your first miele!! Congrats! I'm sure you'll go through a lot of bags lol. Let me know what you think of the hose, I like the material for durability. But I can't stand how stiff it is when vacuuming sometimes. It seems to bang into things (walls and furniture) in smaller rooms or tight areas. It has knocked some things over too.
I like how durable the hose is. but yes it is pretty stiff. I am happy with this Miele. I can only imagine how many bags I’ll go through. Lol
Do you recommend this for hardwoods? Our house has area rugs and hardwood floors, trying to understand if this machine will be good for hardwoods without scratching them up.

Miele are very nice vacuum. I'm glad you were able to get one. You should get a sebo x4 or Felix. I love them both especially the Felix.

This vacuum is on my wishlist but I don’t know if it’s worth it with mostly hardwood floors. How does it do on hardwood?
They have a cheaper hard floor model available.

I have this, and it trapped my cat fur, where hose connection is to bag. Then the motor filter get clog up

miele c3 powerline cat and dog - the best vacuum ever. Super comfortable to use, performed exceptionally well, customer support from Miele is top notch and the quality over all just screams good stuff. I know a guy from Greece whose miele lasts over 24 years and still works perfectly (bagged vacuum)
You ever consider installing a central vacuum?
Hey, I have thought about it. The water one that flushes the water down the drain. It would be hard to install, as we have the wood around the whole house.
I am thinking to get this model because it is compact and light. I have 3 cats so the furr goes everywhere! Do you think that this model is good for pets or I need a more powerful one ? It looks really effective on your carpet though
This machine will be perfect for you I used the same bag for 6 months without clogging or it getting full.

Would you say that this machine is good for 2000+ sq feet?
Other then the cord being a tad shorter then I'd prefer. I have a 3800 sqft house and it has done perfectly, I have gone over a month without having to change the bag using it almost everyday. I also have 4 dogs.
I am still using the same bag!
