Review of the GoZone K2 // How does it compare to DB?
The Gozone K2 board comes in 5 different colours varigants. You can get the board with black mountains and white sky, white mountains and black sky, yellow mountains and black sky, yellow sky and black mountains and last but not least red mountains and black sky.
Great quality board with a lot of rocker that can make you pop higher.

Solid review Magnus!
Thank you 😄
very cool review man i waas just looking to buy a gozone skimboard
Thank you :D Their boards is really nice ;)
Thanks for the review. Can you tell me what is the solid part made of? (wood?)
Yeah it's wood
Okay. Thank you. So is the best ones made of fibreglass, I’ve been told wooden skimboards aren’t as good is this true? I’m seeking to buy one and it will be my fist board.
@@martinblack2647 fibre glass skimboards are more for wave and beach skimming if you want to ride waves and these wooden ones are made for more flatland and tricks
What board is the best to achieve the longest distance slide on the flat beach sand with small water layer on top? What shape / material?
I think the boards with the pointy nose is the best shape since that is the ones you typically see doing that kind of stuff. I think you want a board with not too much rocker since you will sink more into the water with more rocker. I don't think the material matters. Just have the bottom as flat as possible like every skimboard has. I don't know if any GoZone board follows these criterias but I know DB has made some boards that do.
How about the length of the slide, I've used to slide on the skim with pretty big rocker and slides were much shorter than on the flat one.
That's actually a good question. I have not experienced a long slide on the GoZone board yet but I could imagine it is shorter. Next time I have enough space for a long slide I will test it out for sure 🙂
Hi, Is it suitable for beginners?
I would say so yes 👍 it depends. If you are small (about the age of 5-10 years old) then maybe consider the junior boards but bigger/older then the K2 would be a good board
Can they ride waves
They are not made for waves, but I have not tried so I don't know how they do on waves.
Öi did they send this to you for free?
Yes
