It was a very sad era where Alex Ferguson was bullying everyone. He was also chairman of all FA managers union & he used to take undue advantage of his post.. He bullied Referees, Opposition Managers, Opposition Players, His own Players, Agents & Players in Transfer Market, Football Journalists.. Pandits.. & who not.. The emergence of Chelsea & City through cash-rich owners was not such a bad thing after all.. Otherwise PL would have been boring like German League where Bayern takes all good players & all the trophies.. The moment they see any challenge to their top spot, they snatch their best players.. United under Ferguson was exactly the same.. Current PL situation is far better where we have 6-7 top clubs & no one bullying anyone..
The irony was that Ferguson was right. Leeds did try harder against utd. You could see that clear as day

@@VillaBoys123 He never got the chance to fulfil it. He brought in Luke Shaw, Martial and Sergio Romero. He also gave us Rashford. Jose was far worse imo even though we won things. LVG took over a United side that didn't have the players to do what he wanted to do. You need technical midfielders to do that which we had none of back then. He needed at least one more transfer window. Pogba was his signing too.

Sir Alex was a master at the mind games, one of the reasons he'll always go down as one of the best ever. Done it 3-4 times during a title race and made his opponents crack under the pressure every time.

wasn't just his opponents i believe, strong words surrounding his connection to match officials. No doubt a great manager, but its no secret that Man U got the rub of the green in a big way for 15 years. You had to beat the ref as well as them back in them days. If VAR was around then, bet some of them titles would be in different trophy cabinets haha

LVG is a brilliant coach no doubt about it. The issue with his style of football for UTD just did not work. To much possession play without movements from the players is not the UTD way.
Nah mate, a lot the recruitment was shite compared to what solskjaer is getting. Van Gaal managed to finish in 6th while giving debuts to league 1 level players and actually made them look half decent.
@@jaydensupremecy639 finished 4th & 4th/5th, lost out on goal-difference because he didn't get the Muller like he wanted, compared to Man City having Aguero, never finished 6th, don't know where you got that from mate
