I feel like the Froot section kinda....skims over a lot of the reasons why she's hated. Like yeah the cheating is the biggest part, but there are still people who despise her for the whole Silvervale debacle and others who hate her over allegations of pocketing money she raised for charity. Like her doc dropped and no one's opinions changed on her because you either supported her wholeheartedly or you hate her guts for the myriad of other controversies she's been embroiled in. Still, use your brain to formulate your own opinions. In my head, I'd probably want to steer clear of someone who seems to be a magnet for controversies like Froot.
My problem is that multiple lines of that 90-page damn essay she posted heavily alluded to having sexual relations with people other than her husband while she was still married doesn't excuse the husband's manipulative actions but still cheating on someone (Especially someone in an active war zone) is terrible.

Because people like KSI Asmond Gold etc are more remembered not by their mistakes but by what good they’ve done in the past. Before KSI’s controversies he was one of the most beloved British influences on the planet so obviously people will support him idk how that is so hard to understand for people like you. respectfully disagree homie. institutions/paradigms in education systems don't "teach" or temper a person to experience art and the art-making process. this is where i'd argue its doubly true to the current meta art/creative education systems the world over... the x factor in what goes into someone liking or having a favorable experience/interaction with art (entertainment) is also wildly personal, naturally.. which would also make for an impossible hurdle to clear in making a cirricula that isn't absolute crap. a lot of the music-writing process happens outside the studio, so to speak.

As a decently self aware VTuber I know that I’m really cringe to 99% of people, and at this point I just lean into the over the top loser/chronically online persona. I’ve been featured in several “try not to cringe” type videos from bigger content creators and made fun of to hell and back in their comments. Most people are going to accuse me of being a man, fat, or ugly behind the avatar regardless of how I behave so I might as well just have fun with it.
It is a mask that gives you benefits of not having to show your real face while offering hate from people for using said mask. But really why should that matter everyone big gets hate so bake that dough.
Honestly, I watch and support vtubers. I still find the voice packs, dakimuras and the "promise ring" (dear God) cringe. But I simply don't engage with that side of the content. Nor do I disparage fellow fans who engage in such things. ASMR stream? No thank you, miss but I will catch the one tomorrow where you play games or just chat. Boob mousepad? Erm thats ok. But do gimme some of those stickers and perhaps that mug. Not everything is made for everyone. Besides you've got Mr Beast and KSI right frickin there if you want to be outraged at someone.
I completely agree. I’ve always felt slightly weirded out by the boob mousepads and body pillows. However, I do really enjoy watching vtubers so I just don’t engage with anything like that. I know it isn’t aimed at me so I just ignore it and let people enjoy it if they want to.

I think the reason why people hate Vtubers is because its eather they would hate things to change or because they think its very cheap to get popularity cause you look like a virtual female with big personalitys. For the 1st change is gonna happen at some point and this change is positive for people who are anxious to show their face or down want people being invasive in their life. I mean that by constantly following you and asking for pictures and what not mean while the person just wants to eat or enjoy their life like a normal human being. I am not saying they hate taking picture with fans but the problem with fans all the time is knowing peoples boundaries and a lot of the time fans cross over them by posting picture online when they said not to do that or being very invasive by getting too much into personal space in their life when they just want to have a normal morning and enjoy their coffie. 2nd thing i dont think its cheap at all. If you watched some of them you can see how much work is put into being a Vtuber. Even shylily (orcat - orca / cat) vtuber said on her stream she has barrely sleep and streaming time is her free time. Being a vtuber can be as stressfull as any other job and can mentally drain you. Also vtuber models are very expensive. They can cost from like simple 1k to 10k or more $. The job can be very expensive to work in and time demanding. Just because you are home that doesnt mean you are gonna have free time now its up to you if you enjoy doing what vtubers do or not. Also if you wanna become a vtuber i suggest you to start streaming as a hobby to know if you are into it or not cause if you are there only for the money. It most of the time wont work out unless you are lucky but that lucky might be even lower than winning a lottery so please if you wanna be a vtuber do it for fun and one day it might become a job for you.
My brother has a different but still debilitating health condition, and even tho he’s a small twitch streamer, both twitch and the internet has been an amazing way to connect with people. He’s very happy with what he has 😊

No hard evidence.. aside from discord messages with the same credibility as the messages she presented. Repeating something doesn't make it true, and the ex husband dropped from the scene years ago. It's others who she allegedly led on and cheated with doing the calling out, one confirming with private images sent to him that allegedly werent shared with the ex-husband. Couple that with the caps in the 90 page doc being inconsistent while the doc itself leaves out info she included in her own, now deleted Facebook post and her mother's hostile nature of going after accounts that talk about the issue, and the repeated statement of there being no evidence feels like the presenter's own bias. There's both too much and too little info to form a conclusion, as she she seems emotionally manipulative in the same way he seems emotionally abusive for both to draw out the worst in one another. "But he wanted sex" after she would tease him and say no when he tried to advance (a year long back and forth), "he said she would cheat" after she said sex would never happen and he needed to look for it elsewhere.. in addition to him saying he'd rather die than look for it elsewhere and he'd have to look for sex in his next life. These are not good people, which is why I stick to the data. The data says the screenshots can show 11-13 lines of messages with Froot able to text a line in 1-2 seconds, yet the screencaps are frequently 6-8 lines of text with 10 seconds to a few hours between blocks.. too many gaps for me to take at face value.
I’m honestly not shocked that no one read froot’s document besides Tom, since there’s a lot of people that covered her that were pretty lazy or believed whatever nasty things people said about her and chose not to read the document because of that.🐱
I personally don't really like them because it's content that has removed more of the human element. I just can't shake the idea of that Bladerunner scene from my head when I think about how Vtubers get and interact with their audiences. For how hyper and overactive it is, it's strangely cold. I prefer having a human face to look at or a real voice talking, not a computer-controlled model with a made up persona running the channel. Also, so much cringe comes out of a lot of those communities. Both because the vtubers in question cater to a specific audience and because the audience is consuming the content of a vtuber they're being weird about almost always. Like this idea is fine on paper and doesn't have anything inherently wrong with it, but the execution and the fanbases they form is always things I like to stay away from.
I read that document: best case scenario the husband coerced Froot into having sex with him, at worst he forced himself on her. Either way he's a disgusting man. She has a low libido, possibly even asexual. He could not accept that and whenever she hung out with male friends he assumed she was cheating on him because she won't have sex with him as much as he liked, not because she might just be asexual. Of course that is coming from Froot herself so we can't be 100% sure she's asexual or has low libido, but I don't see why she would lie about it and the text messages with her ex husband seem to imply she very much is. It also doesn't prove she cheated on him or not, but anyone who has read that document that isn't extremely biased against her can clearly see the story of an unsupportive husband who sexually abused his wife.

Despite being very Vtuber-adjacent myself as a PNGtuber, I was always really cynical about Vtubers until I internally separated them from the exceedingly corpo and parasocial culture that surrounds them, and realized that they're really just content creators like the rest of us. Usually very talented ones, too.

it sometimes feels like the fanbase is completely diffrerent from the streamer themselves, a youtuber or streamer could literally be the nicest person on earth, but the fandom is toxic as hell. even if that isnt the case, some few toxic fans could ruin the enitre image of the fanbase. completely unrelated, but my brother told me i was weird and toxic for liking coryxkenshin, and that his fanbase was the same. i was confused, and at this point, i gave up trying to talk back. goes to show that sometimes, a few bad people can ruin the entire fanbase.
What I don’t like is just that people put all vtubers in to one category: “vtuber” while it is technically a category it really is more like an adjective. They do things that normal streamers do they just happen to not show their face and instead have a stand-in. I personally find the vtuber models themselves interesting just because of the idea of not showing you face but still having a “stream presence” plus on the technical side they are a modern marvel with how intricate they are.

I'm forthcoming to say I like watching VTubers just for the sake of it without delving into the extreme parasocial side that other people get way too invested in. I mean the freak who tried breaking into Camilla's house while she was streaming no less clearly had real issues and could go to jail (rightfully so) for a long time as a result.

I feel like the Froot section kinda....skims over a lot of the reasons why she's hated. Like yeah the cheating is the biggest part, but there are still people who despise her for the whole Silvervale debacle and others who hate her over allegations of pocketing money she raised for charity. Like her doc dropped and no one's opinions changed on her because you either supported her wholeheartedly or you hate her guts for the myriad of other controversies she's been embroiled in.
Still, use your brain to formulate your own opinions. In my head, I'd probably want to steer clear of someone who seems to be a magnet for controversies like Froot.
My problem is that multiple lines of that 90-page damn essay she posted heavily alluded to having sexual relations with people other than her husband while she was still married doesn't excuse the husband's manipulative actions but still cheating on someone (Especially someone in an active war zone) is terrible.

What I find crazy is how accepted it is nowadays when an influencer just does absolutely wild, toxic and unresearched bullshit. Be it Asmon who does a big fat racist take and just says "whoopsies I'll clean my room now" and everyone forgives him, Hasan who literally thinks terrorist groups are great, and scammers and just general assholes like Logan Paul or KSI for example. As an example, when Lunchly came out and everyone was going like "Oh KSI fell off now" I was genuinely so surprised because I only heard of KSI before for that cryptoscam he was involved in, and I honestly didn't expect anyone to still support him. I just don't understand why people like that are so beloved by such a large audience that they get away with shit like that.

As a decently self aware VTuber I know that I’m really cringe to 99% of people, and at this point I just lean into the over the top loser/chronically online persona. I’ve been featured in several “try not to cringe” type videos from bigger content creators and made fun of to hell and back in their comments. I think the reason why people hate Vtubers is because its eather they would hate things to change or because they think its very cheap to get popularity cause you look like a virtual female with big personalitys. For the 1st change is gonna happen at some point and this change is positive for people who are anxious to show their face or down want people being invasive in their life. I mean that by constantly following you and asking for pictures and what not mean while the person just wants to eat or enjoy their life like a normal human being. I am not saying they hate taking picture with fans but the problem with fans all the time is knowing peoples boundaries and a lot of the time fans cross over them by posting picture online when they said not to do that or being very invasive by getting too much into personal space in their life when they just want to have a normal morning and enjoy their coffie.
2nd thing i dont think its cheap at all. If you watched some of them you can see how much work is put into being a Vtuber. Even shylily (orcat - orca / cat) vtuber said on her stream she has barrely sleep and streaming time is her free time. Being a vtuber can be as stressfull as any other job and can mentally drain you. Also vtuber models are very expensive. They can cost from like simple 1k to 10k or more $. The job can be very expensive to work in and time demanding. Just because you are home that doesnt mean you are gonna have free time now its up to you if you enjoy doing what vtubers do or not.
Also if you wanna become a vtuber i suggest you to start streaming as a hobby to know if you are into it or not cause if you are there only for the money. It most of the time wont work out unless you are lucky but that lucky might be even lower than winning a lottery so please if you wanna be a vtuber do it for fun and one day it might become a job for you.
The Vtubers models and rigging cost quite a load, plus it's there as a mask that gives the person privacy which is rare when being popular.

Repeating something doesn't make it true, and the ex husband dropped from the scene years ago. It's others who she allegedly led on and cheated with doing the calling out, one confirming with private images sent to him that allegedly werent shared with the ex-husband.
Couple that with the caps in the 90 page doc being inconsistent while the doc itself leaves out info she included in her own, now deleted Facebook post and her mother's hostile nature of going after accounts that talk about the issue, and the repeated statement of there being no evidence feels like the presenter's own bias.
There's both too much and too little info to form a conclusion, as she she seems emotionally manipulative in the same way he seems emotionally abusive for both to draw out the worst in one another. "But he wanted sex" after she would tease him and say no when he tried to advance (a year long back and forth), "he said she would cheat" after she said sex would never happen and he needed to look for it elsewhere.. in addition to him saying he'd rather die than look for it elsewhere and he'd have to look for sex in his next life.
These are not good people, which is why I stick to the data. The data says the screenshots can show 11-13 lines of messages with Froot able to text a line in 1-2 seconds, yet the screencaps are frequently 6-8 lines of text with 10 seconds to a few hours between blocks.. too many gaps for me to take at face value.
I’m honestly not shocked that no one read froot’s document besides Tom, since there’s a lot of people that covered her that were pretty lazy or believed whatever nasty things people said about her and chose not to read the document because of that.🐱
I personally don't really like them because it's content that has removed more of the human element. I just can't shake the idea of that Bladerunner scene from my head when I think about how Vtubers get and interact with their audiences. For how hyper and overactive it is, it's strangely cold. I prefer having a human face to look at or a real voice talking, not a computer-controlled model with a made up persona running the channel.
Also, so much cringe comes out of a lot of those communities. Both because the vtubers in question cater to a specific audience and because the audience is consuming the content of a vtuber they're being weird about almost always.
Like this idea is fine on paper and doesn't have anything inherently wrong with it, but the execution and the fanbases they form is always things I like to stay away from.

I read that document: best case scenario the husband coerced Froot into having sex with him, at worst he forced himself on her. Either way he's a disgusting man. She has a low libido, possibly even asexual. He could not accept that and whenever she hung out with male friends he assumed she was cheating on him because she won't have sex with him as much as he liked, not because she might just be asexual. Of course that is coming from Froot herself so we can't be 100% sure she's asexual or has low libido, but I don't see why she would lie about it and the text messages with her ex husband seem to imply she very much is. It also doesn't prove she cheated on him or not, but anyone who has read that document that isn't extremely biased against her can clearly see the story of an unsupportive husband who sexually abused his wife.

Despite being very Vtuber-adjacent myself as a PNGtuber, I was always really cynical about Vtubers until I internally separated them from the exceedingly corpo and parasocial culture that surrounds them, and realized that they're really just content creators like the rest of us. What I don’t like is just that people put all vtubers in to one category: “vtuber” while it is technically a category it really is more like an adjective. They do things that normal streamers do they just happen to not show their face and instead have a stand-in.
I personally find the vtuber models themselves interesting just because of the idea of not showing you face but still having a “stream presence” plus on the technical side they are a modern marvel with how intricate they are.

The thing about Froot, BOTH are in the wrong for many things not communicated in the beginning because young inexperienced adults.
The drama farm was squashed YEARS ago. Her ex said he wanted to move on from it all, and then i guess deleted their accounts later from what Ive seen those years ago. Froot then years after the fact posted the 90 page doc & forced her narrative to defame this dude in an attempt to either drama clip farm or fix her image. Froot kinda self reported herself in the doc of Cheating too. I.E. the "friends" she hanged out with, meaning allegedly there was a High chance of cheating. That which led her Ex to fall off from grace.
