I just decorated my little loft for summer and I think what makes your house cozy is: twinkle lights (string lights), candles, pillows, and new fabric to draw on your coffee table or what have you (or just getting out new things - always makes me feel happy and cozy)…… 😍

So my suggestion for your home decor, this summer take pictures of the lake and summer, you can get these put on canvases or frame them, then during the winter you can still have part of your sunny summer

I was diagnosed with breast cancer just as Covid hit us here in the uk but they were incredibly lovely. Always get your mammograms done if ever you find a lump because the sooner you get it sorted out the better. I felt a lump and it turned out I had two. Anyway cancer lumps have been removed plus a couple of lymph nodes to check it hadn’t spread so always do what you need to and get your mammogram done. I’m sure you will be fine even though it’s scary. Sending your family love from uk. ❤
Ironically I am going for a follow up mammogram and ultrasound this morning! It is nerve wracking for sure. They found a “mass” seems to be cystic but it says “probably benign” those words are scary. I am hoping and praying I get the all clear so I can move on. As long as we stay up
On our health if something comes up, we can take care of it early. That’s how I see it. I love how you brought that up! You will be fine ❤️❤️

Good morning! What a fun day! When we grill the corn we just keep the green on and place on the upper rack of grill. The greens burn, but we just peel that off and butter salt at the end. 🤗 Happy Summer to y'all!

Smells are cozy to us, blankets, pictures, our style decor, a fire in the cold seasons. Something I’m realizing too (we moved into a new home) and a lot of the interior is Grey, white, black. Something that is cozy is warm tones ❤️ so we are slowly changing things to that. Flooring next!

Great video! To make my home more cozy I add textures. I don't like a lot of clutter or color, so a way to add more by doing less is adding pieces that can either be solid colored or even a couple colors--tastefully. That could be more textured rugs all around the home, large textured art pieces, and calming looking items. Another way I make my home more cozy is by having contrast. Really dark pieces, really light pieces. Neutrals in between. I have a lot of creamy off-white beigey to brown items balancing between any color I have in any room. Each color has a more neutral version of itself, almost a dull version of each color. Any color you have in a room bring in a couple pieces of that color in its "dull version" it can make the room feel more relaxing/cozy.

Thanks for making such great videos! I’ve been watching since Ella was a baby. If you buy corn in the husk you can soak it in water and then put the corn directly on the grill. Once it’s done you just pull it off and let it cool a bit before you pull off the husk.

The big blue ikea bags are great for moving. I used them to move in and out of my dorm or apartment every year during college. My sister is moving soon and she is borrowing them lol. Also, to avoid tinfoil for the corn on the grill just keep them in the husk, soak them in water and put them on the top rack of grill. They will steam perfectly in the husk. When done just peel them and add butter and salt. That’s how we have always done them and it’s delicious

Yes. I’ve had lumps and they’ve been somewhat painful/gave up caffeine and take Circumin supplements called “Curapro” and my mammograms have come up benign. Just something I have to be vigilant about once a year. It’s annoying but has not shown up anything to worry about. Sending positive vibes your way. ❤
I need to find more time to wash my kids bedding. I have 6 kids and only wash them probably once a month 😢maybe a little longer. I need to work on that ! I get a lot of ideas from you so thank you !

Try grilling your corn in a little bit of the husk, kind of tricky getting the silk out however, the more you practice the better you’ll get. So good. There’s plenty of videos on You tube on how to do it. Give it a try. Dorene Weiss

I wash linens every Wednesday. I don’t love stripping and making the bed but fresh linens are worth it. I spray linen spray every morning but it’s not the same.

My family cooks the corn in its husk directly on the grill. It's delicious!
I ran and brought that pretty black bag you got from walmart. It is too cute!!!
So idk if anyone said it previously but you can keep the corn in the husk, soak them in water for about 10 minutes, then grill them in the husk. Comes out perfect everytime. Just don’t forget to soak or it’ll burn the husk.
I wash all out linens and comforters every week and sometimes more depending on accidents. Can’t go longer than 1 week
Hey Tiff, you can grill corn while in the husk and not have to deal with foil. Then just butter and salt as you eat 😊

I have dealt with the fibrocystic breast thing since I was 19. It's scary considering my mom had breast cancer, but it's definitely worth getting checked just for the peace of mind. 20 years now and never any cancer results, thank god.

So I had breast cancer (diagnosed at 38). I would really suggest getting an ultrasound and breast MRI. Ask you doc. You are young and sometimes the mammogram is not accurate with denser breast.

However I recently read a post where the Jelly shoes made in China sold in Walmart were loaded with lead and has caused lethargic and illness in children. I have no idea if this is true but I saw the cute shoes you just purchased and thought you would want to check on your own. I love your videos and have been watching for three years.💜

Caffeine can cause lumps. Thats what i was told when i had my first mammogram, and my lumps have srayed the same (no problems) over the last 15 years. I always take a motrin before a mamogram just to make it less uncomfortable. Good luck with everything! It will feel so good to get it behind you so that you don't have to worry anymore.

Hey! After each mammogram (2) I’ve had biopsies on my left breast (very nerve-racking) that both came out benign. Just try to remember that even if there is a 2% chance of something serious, they want to test the tissue further. I know you are a RN, but it still helps to have that confirmation. You are young and healthy, and I’ll be glad when you get results back so you can move on from this and not have that worry hanging over you! Sending you peace and a worry-free-ish day!! 🥰🥰🥰♥️♥️♥️

Loved this video! I would say what makes our home the coziest, is the lighting. When I go into a home with overhead lights on, it can be jarring. So I’m big on lamps with warm light bulbs and dimmers on the light switches!
