Hi guys, met you 2 in the Sun lounge, day after your get together I think, must agree get accommodation sorted, then we play chicken with the flights, always get a deal in November/early December, we paid an incredible 70 quid return with Jet 2 from Edinburgh, unheard of, Ryanair the same but would always go with Jet2 all things being equal, we were going to go on Tuesday past last minute for the same price but accommodation ridiculous so stayed at home, caught the storm etc.. talking Lanzarote, listen, enjoy the rest of your time cos life is short & sunny days are few x

I sometimes wish my woman would do the booking and just tell me... Thanks for this, very interesting and great to see you two on Kev's recent videos too. You seem to end up in some great places. 5.50GBP a night when real inflation is running at about 17% is not bad. Life is for purpose and for fun.

424 bus stopped outside our place at the Regency , come outside your gates turn left up the hill 🥴🥴to top of the road turn left follow the road down , good vid Kevin done you was both in sometimes we stop for a beer over at the ocean park bar , that hill to your place is a killer a well earned san Miguel at the end for mark anyway enjoy still looking warm out there 😎👍🏻🍻🍻
Weathers fab less cloudy days now than earlier in month and December … yes hills terrible be lost without the 424 😂.. staying over the other side next Jan but hills nowhere near this bad as it is here x

Great vlog ………we’ve just back from our Cyprus trip and hopefully setting of again Sunday for Spain for our 90 days Xx
That’s the way to do it.. didn’t take the risk with Cyprus this year knowing our luck they’ll join the Schengen… so it’s Turkey for 7 weeks in October.. will get to Cyprus one day hopefully xx

Very informative video, yes, I have noticed prices for accommodation creeping up, but it seems everything is just more expensive now worldwide. €7 now for a pint of Guinness in Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪 Crazy, better off saving your money and go to the canaries and drink San Miguel like Mark, enjoy your last month or more of your well deserved holidays, life is for living 😀 keep safe and well XX
We really notice the prices when we go back to UK after being here you can’t help feeling ripped off.. on Gower Wales it’s expensive to eat out in pubs beer is around £5/6 a pint so we don’t go to pubs at home. We have the occasional take away through summer and eat in cafe at campsite now and then but try to just save as much as we can and blow it all in the winter here lots of eating out 😂 xx

We live off one wage and save the other through the summer remember we have to also save to cover 6 months bills too so its your accommodation costs plus what you budget for each day … we’re abroad 5 months this winter so got to work and save hard this summer xx

I’m checking every day but flights only up to Dec 14th 2025 so got all flights booked before then as going Turkey from 14th October to 1st December.
We are loving the sunshine it’s great 😊.. always feels great when you get a bargain mind we wouldn’t go if we didn’t .. wait till I tell you about a deal in Turkey fully inclusive for us both although I’m not sure how good it’s going be but at least Mark can enjoy his beer if nothing else!! Xx

We pay ourselves £350 each week then any left over goes into another account to mount up … yes always have money left over x

Do you find Tenerife cheaper than Lanza for accommodation around Christmas
It’s a difficult one to answer it just depends what you’re looking for and catching a bargain .. we always go for apartments around £50 a night sometimes there’s a choice other times not hence get in asap.. having said that I booked the Tenerife one for next year ( apartments by Aqualand for New Year’s Eve) in Dec just gone .. someone must have a cancelled and I spotted it so booked it asap then the price doubled for all their dates after our stay ends x

You really should be going to South Africa/Thailand/Vietnam, it’s much cheaper.
Unfortunately due to having elderly parents we can’t go to far in case we need to get back easily.. also due to my new medical condition I’m not comfortable going to those places just yet maybe one day .. but first we’d do New Zealand x

Enjoy .. we were almost going to give Thailand ago but Marks mum became ill and sadly passed last year and it’s too far to go with very elderly parents .. and with my medical condition now it’s off the cards for a while at least see how it goes.. glad your enjoying yourselves life’s short xxx
