Oschatz - Mugeln - Kemmlitz, Mallet tank.

Recorded in 2004 during a whistle stop driving holiday when taking in as many of the former East German narrow gauge lines as possible.
The former china clay line between the picturesque town of Oschatz and Mugeln is featured here. By good fortune the day we visited we found one of the line's Mallet articulated 0-4-4-0 tank engines at work, furthermore, they were also operating over the remainder of the line to the erstwhile traffic source at Kemmlitz. The line nowadays is known as the 'Dollnitz Bahn' ... after the river who's course it follows.

Nice video - that engine is quite unusual - not sure I've ever seen an articulated tank before!
