After watching most of your videos, I started to realize that there is something in your thoughts that made me watch more of your contents and LISTEN to your calm voice. It's like watching, learning and meditating all at the same time. Thanks for sharing!
This is a valuable addition to my woodwork collection ruclips.net/user/postUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO I still will rate this woodwork plan as the best in my reference library. It always seem to stand out from the rest whenever you go through the library. This is a masterpiece.
This is perfection. Great editing, great music, great narration, GREAT wood working. I'm a father myself (three boys). The way you tell the story of how you're preparing for the birth of your own child is priceless. This for me is what makes everything, including wood working, meaningful. All the best for you and your family.
Congratulations on the birth of your second child! I wish you all long and happy lives. Great to meet you in Atlanta over the past weekend! I never miss a video And being a father of three myself you’re confident definitely strikes a huge chord with me and my Family ! Thanks Chris
Beautiful Dresser. I totally agree with you making furniture that will follow them through life. A constant reminder of a parent's love when having a tough day. I have always wanted to make beds for my children but, sadly I never had children to make beds for. Now that I have married late in life, a wonderful woman who brought three amazing adult sons into my life, I look forward to making furniture for their kids some day. I really like you video style, and plan to begin filming myself shortly. Congrats on the birth of your son, many blessings for you and your family.
Congrats on the new addition to your family, Chris. You make such meticulously refined pieces that are as beautiful to look at as they are functional. Your wry sense of humor really adds to the already fantastic videos! Thanks for sharing!!
Congratulations on your new soon to be addition to your family. Very clean piece. I'd love to see you go out of you'r mid century modern comfort zone. Although I am a big fan. I also love how you said dolores decided to leave the job she likes to stay home for the children, and how you thanked your patreon members and said that was basically a deciding factor. Here's the kicker!!! Wait for ittttttt.....! So if you'd like to be a patreon that would be great. And as always. ....no pressure! NO Pressure? You're about to have another mouth to feed, clothing to buy, college to save for. Wow!!! You seem very calm, cool, and collected. I love it 😆 Best of luck to you and dolores
haha...thanks Christine. Well, I've always said that I don't want anybody to feel like they HAVE to support me via Patreon. And I would hate for anybody who is struggling financially to support me. But if they are comfortable and dig the show, and want to support it - awesome. But everybody will still get all of the same videos, etc... We are anxious of course - but we've been planning for this for a while, so hopefully it all goes as we're hoping :)
I love your work but I love even more the way you narrate your videos as well. I would give anything to be able to have you build one of these for my new grand boy
I appreciate the music in your videos so much! Took me a while to realize why I hate music in other build videos and not yours, and it's because your guitarist actually plays and makes music. Unlike the canned soundtracks of others that never resolve and just repeat the same 12 bars. Thank you Chris (and Chris)!
Love this piece and many others you make. I also enjoy your videos not just for the demonstration purposes, but also the quirky humor with which you tell your stories. To you it's probably nothing but natural, but it does add to the overall quality of the video you make. A slightly late sentiment, but congrats on your expanding family! Hope everyone is well.
I am also going to have a baby very soon. Your work inspired me to plan such a furniture to add to our home when the baby comes our home. Thnks for ur inspiration.
Chris Salomone . Thanks for your reply. I always wait to have pleasure watching your neat and clean work. And ofcourse your explanations. Your works are art pieces. Thnks.
First: congrats! Second: awesome work (as usual) Third: quick tip - painting mdf with exposed edges? before you prime the panel seal the edges with one or two coats of wood glue or white elmers. sand between coats of glue. you’ll save yourself a coat or two and the edge will have exactly the same look as the face. takes extra time but the results are killer.
I've been meaning to tell you, I've used actual 3M 1080 vehicle wrap to face my door in my garage. Came out looking darn near perfect. You can face them with the wrap and use an edge band/vaneer triming tool to cut it without wrapping all the way around the sides. I just pre-painted the doors white so it would look a little cleaner. Wouldn't mind chatting more about it if you wanted.
Great build! I've been watching your channel for a while now. As a lifelong, die-hard Cardinals fan your hat makes me throw up in my mouth a little each time I watch, but I really like your work. Your woodworking, narration and vidiography are all outstanding and unique. Keep up the great work.
Congrats on the baby, btw. My wife quit teaching to stay home with our kids until the youngest started kindergarten. You guys will not regret it. It's worth whatever financial hardships it causes. I made a cradle for our first baby. Since we had 4 of them, it got used quite a bit, but now it's in storage until our oldest has a baby of her own. Your thought process on choosing to make a dresser instead makes a lot of sense.
Congratulations Chris, got to be honest, this has taken over as my favourite piece you've shared. I loved the hi fi unit but this is stunning. Something always makes me smile whenever I see walnut. Good job.
Just beautiful!! I just stop my communication studies for going into the woodworking next year. It's thanks to people like you that i found what iwant to do in my life :) Good work man!!
As always sir fantastic work both with the wood and the video keep it up! I agree on the dresser choice, more practicle and it will still be there when he moves out one day so he can take piece of home with him, knowing as well his dad built it with his own hands.
As always amazing design and execution! I feel like your videography and explanations are always improving and I understand more every time!! Congratulations on #2!!
Chris, I really enjoy your videos. I also appreciate your insight regarding why you decided not to build a cradle. This piece is an excellent build....and will always have a home. Well done.
I love that your new son (congratulations if he's finally made it by now!) could have the option of changing out the colors (or replacing the painted fronts with walnut) as he gets older and tastes change. You've made a timeless piece! Almost as easy as Photoshop!
And well, Dolores is only human... Your introduction cracked me up! Chris, I have enjoyed your videos from the beginning and would definitely consider supporting but being momentarily without a job, unfortunately that’s not an option. For now, my best wishes to your family!
Hey Niek...no worries about that. Just keep watching, and spread the word to anybody who you think will like it. That is support enough. Best of luck to you :)
I use the same thing as you at 5:18 under my glue ups. I have a vinyl sign that works great! That's so cool that Castle Craft Furniture supports your content on Patreon! I know you were just saying you like working with brands that truly support you and your content. And congrats, Chris! So happy for you and Delores!
Hey Bruce - yeah, Vinyl works great for this sort of thing. And it's a banner that says "welcome class of 2021" for College Freshmen who started last fall...so it was useless at this point.
I just recently started watching your videos and I can already say I`m a huge fan! Love the style and chillness of your videos, and really love the design of your pieces! Keep it up! Oh, and congratulations!!
As always, a fantastic video. Thank you for inspiring creativity and sharing your talent with us. We just had our second as well. It's definitely a game changer... for the better of course. Congrats!

Hey man...great meeting you as well. That was a great weekend, and meeting everybody was definitely the most fun part of the whole thing.

That's awesome Barrett...and you'll get a lot more immediate satisfaction from them since they're adults and will really appreciate your gift :)
Congrats on the new addition to your family, Chris. You make such meticulously refined pieces that are as beautiful to look at as they are functional. Your wry sense of humor really adds to the already fantastic videos! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks Jeff. 👍🏻🙏🏻
such stunning workmanship. beautiful. my grandfather was a woodturner, and if he was still alive to see these works he would agree too.

Thanks Dave. Yeah, I think the music is a really important part of the whole tone/vibe of the videos.
You speak a perfect balance of sentiment and humour :) congrats on extending the foureyes family !
Thanks Ryan...love reading that, b/c that is pretty much exactly what I'm shooting for :)
Your videos with the music and your voice is just so soothing
If you want you can learn how to make it from woodprix woodworking plans.
Love this piece and many others you make. I also enjoy your videos not just for the demonstration purposes, but also the quirky humor with which you tell your stories. Glad you stumbled upon my videos and are enjoying them!

Nice - that is awesome
Chris Salomone . Thanks for your reply. I always wait to have pleasure watching your neat and clean work. And ofcourse your explanations. Your works are art pieces. Thnks.
You shook me with that outro monologue. Had me almost crying.
Very sincere...and then immediately into a Santa reference. 😃
Awesome build, congrats on the 2nd kid and a big thumbs up to those supporting you through patreon!
Beautiful dresser Chris! Congratulations on the new baby.
First: congrats! Thanks George...good call :)
Nice work on the dresser and on making babies!! Congrats to you guys!!
Thanks and Thanks :)
The little cut-out around the base is such a small detail with an incredible impact.
Chris, thanks very much for sharing with us your mistakes. By doing this you teach and save us from a lot of futures problems.
I really like the look of the relief you added to the feet and stretchers. Great work and congratulations!
Congrats to you and your family on your new addition to the family. I love the format of your videos. I enjoy your humor. Have a blessed day.
Thanks Derek...appreciate it!

I just ordered a large roll. Once I know it is good, I'm gonna order some others. Might take you up on that chat if needed :)

Thanks Danny. That is roughly our plan at the moment - though we'll play it by ear as we go. Sorry about the hat :)
Congrats on the World Series win. Cubs fans were long overdue.
Nice dresser Chris! Good luck with your new family member.
Awesome dresser, Thank You for sharing...
Congratulations Chris, got to be honest, this has taken over as my favourite piece you've shared. I loved the hi fi unit but this is stunning. Something always makes me smile whenever I see walnut. Good job.
Hey Steward...very cool! Glad you're digging it :)
Congrats my friend...and as always, the devious humor and puns are not lost here
Just beautiful!! I just stop my communication studies for going into the woodworking next year. It's thanks to people like you that i found what iwant to do in my life :) Good work man!!
Thanks Matthias that's really cool!
Congrats to the newest member Chris! I love love this dresser!
Chris. Fantastic. The 1/8” reveal at the legs are brilliant. Nice job.
Even your saw horses are more beautiful than they ever need to be. ❤
As always sir fantastic work both with the wood and the video keep it up! I agree on the dresser choice, more practicle and it will still be there when he moves out one day so he can take piece of home with him, knowing as well his dad built it with his own hands.
Yup...and move out he will in exactly 18 years :P
Chris Salomone haha good luck with that last bit 😂
Congratulations on the new additions.
Thanks :)
This turned out amazing. Couldn't agree more - that reveal around the base is 👌
Your content is so good! Thanks for putting as much care into your videos as you do into your woodworking.
Congrats on the new addition to the family. Love how the legs turned out, I am keeping that design in mind if I ever need to build another dresser.
Thanks :)
Congrats to your newest family member. Maybe one day he will support you building beautiful furniture ... but no pressure.
I’ll give him 12 years or so... then the pressure starts. 😊
Wonderful design, build and video. Thank you for sharing. Enjoy the new addition to your family...
As always amazing design and execution! I feel like your videography and explanations are always improving and I understand more every time!! Congratulations on #2!!
Absolutely love this dresser! I think I will build this for my entry hallway. Love the colors as well.
Beautiful build, that the little rabbit to the base really sets it off!
This is so beautiful! Congratulations to your second kid :)
This looks amazing! I going to totally steal the colored drawers for an end table in our nursery!
Goosebumps!
Chris,
I really enjoy your videos. I also appreciate your insight regarding why you decided not to build a cradle. This piece is an excellent build....and will always have a home. Well done.
Wow. To be honest it's designed like a Piet Mondrian painting. Very beautiful.
haha...yeah, it is that kind of style

I love that your new son (congratulations if he's finally made it by now!) could have the option of changing out the colors (or replacing the painted fronts with walnut) as he gets older and tastes change. You've made a timeless piece! Almost as easy as Photoshop!

Hey Chris & everyone, for the mdf instead of a primer you can use sealer for flooring, it really help the painting of that material
Good tip!
Congratulations Chris! Beautiful dresser too! The 1/8" gap you put on does add a nice look to it. :D
Nice build! Congrats on the new addition too!
Amazing content as always! I cant stress enough how peaceful and beautiful these videos and products are! Thanks for making such great videos!
Congratulations Chris and family!! 👍👍
Great work Chris! Those 1/8" cuts above the legs do have a massive impact. Looks good. :)
Thanks. Totally. Small details usually work better in person than on video. So I’m glad that came across.
Congrats Foureyes family!
great looking piece, super functional and neat.
I love your designs Chris. My dad and I built the mid century modern TV stand on the weekend and it turned out great. Keep up the good work.
Nice!
Another great project and video; loved the sentiments about building a dresser vs a crib. Congrats on the second little one!
Thanks Troy :)
Favorite woodworking youtuber by far. Keep up the great work, in bed, and in the garage :P
I see what you did there :)
Congratulations again Chris! and this is a beautiful piece!
Really appreciate it Dave

Thanks Christian... I'd be lying if I said I wasn't both excited and anxious for the adjustment
Hey Chris, cool build! I like how the gaps around the draws and doors are replicated in that notch at the top of the stretcher.

Solid wood banding and man that walnut veneer panels looks like it's 1/8" thick
I love the inset drawers! Very cool detail
