Well the reason you don't see more people giving the Lions props is because they KNOW it's a good pick but they still hatin, but quietly 😅. I still can’t believe how he destroyed his life for what ended up a misdemeanor charge. I suppose anyone could make horrible decisions or actions at any time for a man who has it all it’s so hard to understand. Still glad we have moved on as a team though.

Normally I’d have issues with giving away a top 100 pick just to move up 5 spots. But in this case it looks like it was worth it.
You're going to have to get used to it as long as Holmes is GM. He has shown a consistent willingness to pay what he views as a reasonable price to get the player he wants. Also I'd argue the 5 spot move up in this case netted a player that most had ranked in the top 15 available in the draft.
Everyone has potential doesnt fuckin matter prove it on the field.

That’s not even who GreenBay wanted. They wanted the guy we got. We lost Bak and we needed someone who could come in and replace him. Also someone who could play other spots than just one. The lions can think what they want. But we got our guy. Gunks said this was his best draft where he got every guy on his big board. Not the stupid consensus board that PFF put up. Detroit follows this, that’s why they are a one and done team. Lions suck!
