- Some c*** threw a pint of beer which landed right on the sound console. Mixer went bang, sound went off & this vid shows the aftermath. Huge respect and thanks to the sound techs for getting things working, not an easy job under such pressure.
Before it went bang, it was the greatest sounding gig I've ever been to. The light show was also spectacular.

The guy to the far right with the grey hat on at 2:38 is me my back genuinely drenched from flying beer. I have no idea who the fuck thought it was a great idea to throw a full 2 pint beer into the soundboard especially considering the prices of the watered down beer at the O2 (must have cost less money to fix the soundboard than the price to buy the beer that went over it) lol came all the way from birmz for that show
It’s something iv noticed happens a lot at Metal shows where people for some unknown reason with throw full pints of beer from one side of the room to the other
02 Academy prices for beer is ridiculous what a waste I was at this, shame that knobhead to ruin it for everyone

sound engineer here. worst part probably is its gonna be a rental console. not only did it likely cause damage to a 75k machine (which I use everyday) it also cost machine head or at least their technical company a lot of money.
with that being said they could have insurance
