I think she was just overwhelmed, her mum conquered cancer last year she’s been in the game for a decade+ and now everybody is finally seeing her light so I don’t think she was going through something I think she was just accepting her flowers and overwhelmed all the love. I’ve never seen anybody cheer for artists like they did for this woman she deserves every bit of her glory.
She very well may be going through something. Her mood did seem down and like she was there just to be in attendance. But it could also be like the comment above mine said. She’s been making music for more than a decade but this is the most attention she’s gotten since “Bust Your Windows”. Maybe even more since “PUYF” is her first gold single. She has been everywhere over the last year. All types of performances and award shows, performing at the Superbowl, and having more people than I’ve ever seen finally giving her praise so, for someone as lowkey as she seems to be, it might just be a lot to take in. But I hope she allows people to celebrate her and she can adjust. Jazmine is one of my favorite artists and I’ve supported all her projects because her voice and artistry is that special and it needs to be protected and celebrated.
