Mary, it makes tears come in my eyes seeing how well you are feeling. You guys look like you both know all about babies. You are doing great and he is precious.
I get such a vicarious rush of delight watching y’all do all of the mundane baby things thinking, “Gosh, did they ever dream they would be walking around with an armful of cloth diapers?” You’re killing it!
Supplemental Nursing Systems are wonderful! I’m so happy you get to experience the bond of breastfeeding! I’m a NICU nurse and the SNS has been so helpful to many Mamas. Thank you for sharing your sweet Elijah with us! My heart is full of joy for you! God is so good!
I’m still grinning knowing that your parents now. I was when you rushed to hospital, and now when your washing cloth diapers. What an incredible season and chapter to your story! Mahalo for bringing us along! ❤️
I lost one of my dearest friends to CF years ago, which is what originally drew me to your page. It’s so wonderful to see how modern medicine has literally changed your life. Before my friend got sick and ultimately passed, she and her husband asked me if I would be a surrogate for them. Nothing would have made me happier. happily and unhappily, she found out that she was pregnant which was not medically a good situation for her and unfortunately was a large factor in her passing. You have no idea how seeing you improve with this medicine and being able to have this baby and the wonderful life you have truly touches me on such a deep level. I wish you many many years of health and joy. I know you know how blessed you are but please know that we see it too. 🙏🏼
Aww I get teary every time I see you nursing Elijah! I just cherish my nursing times with my babies. I’m so happy you are getting to experience this beautiful time with him. This is a little taste of Heaven for your family. Blessings and Love to you all!
How my parents managed in 1976, soaking nappies overnight, then hand washing, they had a little electric spin dryer. Mum said it left them damp rather than dry. Hanging on the line in Glasgow winters they froze like cardboard! She then defrosted them by the oven while dinner was cooking.
I miss cloth diapers! I still remember exactly how I washed them and my "baby" is 17! I used to put them in at night, soak them with vinegar and baking soda, in the morning spin them out, add detergent and wash on hot. No stains, no smells, so cute and easy! TIP if you find they're leaking, do not use baby detergent or any "free and clear" type detergents and don't use softener. This actually prevents them from absorbing and wicking away the moisture from the skin and will result in needing to strip the diapers as they will begin to leak!
My youngest is 6 and while the baby fever will always linger, I doubt I’ll have another to fluff butt diaper lol. I wanted to with him but it was still so uncommon around here there just weren’t resources to learn or to buy locally and try out ya know? Makes me said thinking back on it. He has such sensitive skin too! He would have done so well! Only 2 kinds of diapers lol!
Watching you both embracing G-d’s gift of parenthood gives us both so much joy, guys. Elijah seems such a happy and contented little lad xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The animals have adjusted as well as the parents. Match made in Heaven. This is a beautiful beautiful journey to watch. Thank you guys for sharing your life with us.
I just love seeing your family grow and change. I miss seeing a video everyday but I totally understand. May God continue to richly bless all 5 of you.
Precious but very busy days!! It’s so incredibly beautiful to see you powering up those stairs Mary…a TON…without coughing!! I bet ur getting ur steps in for the day without even realising it!!!🙌
I have been watching you guys for a while. Your transition with him in your videos are amazing! The parent title fits you guys so well! Mary and that mommy glow!
Such a blessing that God made this way for you both to have this experience. You are a beautiful family. Elijah is so lucky to have you both as parents ♥️
Be careful that a blanket dragging too low can cause you to trip on it.🥰 Just a great gramma here.👍 I see you and Peter doing a great, terrific job of parenting!🦌💌❤️🙏
God bless you all and wishing you a better day today than you had yesterday! Mary and Peter you are truly blessed with the gift of Elijah. Nothing more then watching your child grow is more rewarding. Every milestone has its rewards. I know that he fills your heart with joy and peace.
Like so many others, I have tears watching your channel. So VERY HAPPY for your family. The small snippets of Elijah are precious. Harry snuggling with him is just perfect. I'm sure it will be all three of the kids snuggling soon. Enjoy and relish every precious day, they pass so quickly.
That’s a lot of laundry. Love how quickly Elijah got calm when you pick him up. He knows who mom is. Ollie chilling. Hope he is feeling better. Everyone needs an Easter basket. Can’t wait until he is old enough to do an Easter egg hunt. Aaw, Harry loves his brother.
Mary I am so proud of how you're doing you're doing an excellent job on your health. And congratulations on your new little baby he is adorable and happy anniversary. To watch your videos for a couple years now and I really seem to enjoy them all. Another day goes by that I do not pray for you guys you guys are a blessing to many people and I'm glad that God bless you guys with the baby boy he's beautiful. ❤️
Oh my word.... The little love bug in his bassinet. I'm going to have to stop watching these vlogs... Baby fever is REAL!!!!! Mary you are ROCKING it out, I pray this season of health and joy continues
I don't think it will ever get old, my heart lightening every time I see you guys hold your baby. My heart. Lol! And a diaper is a diaper. It doesn't matter what color or design it is. It collects the exact same thing no matter what it is. Lol!
I started following you guys back when you lived in the basement home, I even bought one of the iron on shirt decals back before you guys were selling shirts lol. Thinking about those old videos and what your day to day life looked like and then seeing you being healthy enough to breastfeed your healthy baby boy and your new day to day life has brought tears to my eyes! What an absolutely beautiful chapter of your books ❤️❤️❤️
Before I was born my Mom had three wicker baskets which we used exclusively for Easter treats. They lasted 50 years! I love Easter. Loved it when Peter was doing double snuggles with the baby and Harry.
I love those Easter baskets I have never seen a basket like them before! Thank you for sharing all of these special moments little small Frey is just so sweet his cry brought back memories of my babies they are all grown up now gosh I miss those days! You both are naturals at parenting God bless you all! I am happy to see Ollie is feeling much better!
I loved using cloth diapers! They really are simple to use and you never have to worry about running out of them and having to go to the store in the middle of the night! Are you using cloth wipes too!
Oh em gee. He's just a "SMALL FREY".... small fry. Goodness that's adorable. Just love being part of your parenting journey. Good job Elijah's mom and dad🙂
when I see how much work is involved I now get why you weren't sure if you could do it when you were still so very very ill before. Glad that you feeling so much better
I am a Nanny and I wanted to give some friendly advice about putting Babies on their side to sleep can Increase the risk of SIDS. Always put Baby on their back to sleep is the Safest!🥰 I hope this helps!🙏 God Bless!💞💞💞
Parents of the 90s LIVED for Sears, lol. My parents had a Sears credit card and we did all our back to school shopping there. 😂 I LOVED cloth diapering my boys, they're so cute and fluffy. They were one of my favorite things about the early days. 💜
I have a picture of me with my daughter (she is also adopted), and it’s just like Peter at the end of the video. I have my cat on one shoulder, and my baby girl on the other. I love that picture. My daughter is now 16. Time is precious. Savor every moment.
Mine were babes right before disposables took off. Curity prefold gauze and waterproof pants on top. I found some super lightweight Gore Tex ones that lasted until they were outgrown. Good for you for saving the landfills from tons of plastic! And how very sweet this all is. Babies are the best. (Until they get bigger… and grow up… - they’re still the best and always will be.💕)
Your baskets are awesome that is very neat. Mary you seemed to be doing much better. And adapting to mother hood. And Peter seems to be a Happy Father 😉🙃 You two have a wonderful Family. Ollie and the cat are not left out. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the next video
Mountains of diapers and baby clothes to wash, dry, and fold…..piece of cake! Parenting skills just seem to come so naturally to the both of you. Happiness is “snugging” Elijah and Harry at the same time……sigh 🥰 God bless 🤗🙏🏼❤️❤️😘👶🏼🐱🐕
I loved using cloth diapers for our kiddos. Saved money, sanity and time. I always had diapers. I did use disposable types as well but loved cloth. I used all types, patterns and colors for boys and girls.
These brings me back to our cloth diaper days . I tried cloth with our girls they are 14.5 months apart and that season was so busy and hard with two in diapers it didn’t work for cloth . When our son was born 6.5 years later I went for it and it was so simple . Enjoy all the cuddles time flies . Those two girls are are now 19 and 18 and our long prayed for son will be 12 soon
As a new mom myself I cringed with the left over milk going down the sink! Consider saving it to add to the bathtub! Any milk that is no longer drinkable can be saved in fridge or freezer for milk baths! Babies come out so soft and it helps with diaper rash!!!
If you ever decide you want to rinse off the diapers before washing them (when things get more solid) there is a hose attachment for the toilet you can spray them right over the toilet and flush the solids right on down then toss the damp diapers into the wash for their wash cycles
Oh my goodness! Thanks for sharing a day in the life with a newborn. Lots of laundry with a new baby but over time it lessens to every other day or so. Love the Easter baskets for the new family of 3.❤🧑👩👶 This year Easter will be my sister's baby she cares for 1st Easter at 10 months old. And the best thing ever,Easter is also my birthday this year for the first time ever in my life.😊 I will be 23 years old this year.😁
I had a slightly sad moment while watching…I had my Easter basket until the neighbor who lives below me started his kitchen on fire and it spread to my unit…ruined my Easter basket. That said im so happy for Mary and Peter! I’ve been following/subscribed for a few years now.
Mary, it makes tears come in my eyes seeing how well you are feeling. You guys look like you both know all about babies. You are doing great and he is precious.
Right? She's a whole new woman on trikafta

I just love seeing your family grow and change. I miss seeing a video everyday but I totally understand. May God continue to richly bless all 5 of you.
