Try mixing the flour softert dont press on it when you are mixing an dafter putting the dall filling leave it for about 5-8 minutes before you roll it out
Natasha your step by step demonstration has given me the push to try to make this puri**I can make roti but this has always been a scary step for me to take** I will now go boldly forward but will watch this video again just before making the step***thank you

I've never tried with chick peas but it will be the same concept. Boil until tender not to soft. Process / grind and follow the steps as in this video.

Very nice recipe .you belong to which country??? I m from Mumbai India. Same way we are making Sweet favourite known as Puran poli. We mix sugar or jagry with dal after boiling. Other wise it is same.
She is from trindad she is of indian decent for those you don't know our ancestors were brought from India by British to work sugar plantation as indured labors we are there decedents
