      Thank you for the comment. I agree, I've got plenty of modern ways to sharpen things but I have always wanted to try this thing. Been in the family forever. Thanks again for watching.

      Thanks for the comment. I’m sorry I mentioned a part 2. I still have plans for a pedal etc but have been sidetracked. You’ve motivated me to get back to work on it.

      I've completed the second video. Still a bit rough but the treadle power works great.

      What could I use as axle I have a stone that I'd like to get up and running like what uv done here

      Good question, sorry for the late reply. I was fortunate in that thought it was rusty it was still intact. You may have to find a pipe that you could also find bearings to fit its diameter. The center wood block could be fashioned to fit anything. I hope you can get it together. Thanks for the comment.
