Walt Disney instinctively understood that this kind of live music performance inspires the heart, sending people home with an elevated experience they wouldn't have gotten otherwise. When Disney World opened in 1971 there was live music everywhere and it was all wonderful. Sadly, Disney's parks have been reduced to the same mindless bean counting that plagues most of our world today. Walt would've kept the live music forever. If he were to come back today, he'd kick some serious ass.
*inside the cameraman's mind at 2:03 * Dear God, thank you for this bounty of bugles that thou hast, in thy infinite mercy, allowed to peel the skin off mine own face. Truly I raise my camera to heaven since my knees are freakin weak from thine glorious Contras. Verily, we doth feast upon thy Mellos and thine Sops. Baritone be thy name, Amen.
