I lost a friend to epilepsy 22 years ago which was so upsetting. But it made me determined to raise epilepsy awareness and money for epilepsy charities too. So i could make a positive out of the tragedy of his death.

Ive had epilepsy since i was 7. Im 43 now. I was lucky to get support but its sad when people dont get the right support they need Well done for helping so many people in Kenya with epilepsy. Ive had people discrimination eg been accused of being drunk during a seizure. Its so upsetting.

Oh, I get that, I’ve been put in a cell overnight due to a seizure… it’s not unheard of! Well done on your efforts!!
