I'm so not happy that good amount of the products you recommend are not available in my country. I'm struggling to find substitutes, really. But on the happy side, yesterday I used one of your no-make-up make ups and i felt so pretty. So, thank you, Nina, for being here with us 😘
I've noticed that I've been suffering from this as I'm now back on Adapalene for acne, my skin is a little flaky and some foundations are worse than others. I've been using also the Nars foundation now, it's such a good formula. I'm going to try the powder technique. Thank you ❤
This is such a helpful explanatory video (they always are). Could you please remind me about shade choices? Is it that foundation should be one shade darker and concealer one shade lighter?
Thanks Nina, very informative as usual 👍 I have found that not hydrating my skin properly causes oil production and hence foundation separation issues. For me, applyjng a light layer of face oil under the spf and primer works really well...
Tried the powder after I put on the spf, as a primer instead of a real primer… so far it’s smooth as butter. I have a sensitive skin/combo…but this tip you recommend might just work for tropical climate. Going on vacay soon n thanks for this alternative primer tip. I love how my skin feels. Let’s see if it will last end of the day. Thanks Nina, btw you’re looking more beautiful n glowing. Have a fabulous day 😊
Never knew about powder as a base first for your foundation. Cool! I use a primer too. It’s a Covergirl color correcting serum moisturizer and primer in one. I use that with my BB cream which has SPF 21. Then set it with a loose setting powder. So far no issues with my skin breaking out. Plus I have sensitive skin too.
I found that too many layers of products with hyaluronic acid causes problems with my foundations. I've started to use my sunscreens as my primer, and so far, so good!
Hi Nina, thank you for this one, this is really usefull. Your earlier video regarding the makeup separating helped me a lot, it turned out that I was moving my foundation with the powder brush (now I press it with the powder puff and it lasts way longer). Now I have another problem, my eyes are tearing a lot (sensitive to the bright light/wind/cold air/smoke) in the outer corners and the tears just wipe away anything underneat. Do you have any advice how to and what to apply there so the tears don't ruin the makeup there? I've tried waterproof eye pencil, it lasted a bit longer, but the base under the pencil was still ruined.
Thank you for your video. would this work for a person with very dry skin? - my concern is that im 53, have melasma, under eye hollows, which i'm already struggling trying to conceal so i used alot of color corrector but also struggling to find a good foundation (i know, i'm a mess! haha :) Any advice, greatly appreciated! and thank you again for all that you do for us! - take care! :)
I have a lot of redness around the nose area, and makeup never seems to sit well even when I apply a small amount. I’ve used foundation and powder (and my skin literally just peels off), foundation alone, concealer alone, concealer with powder.. nothing is working haha. Any tips please on how to get coverage on a tricky area?
Hey, I've looked at the ingredients on the back of the rimmel london primer and it says it has silicone and water in it. What products am I supposed to use alongside it?

That's a great tip! Sometimes simplifying your skincare routine can make a huge difference in how your makeup applies.

Unfortunately it’s very difficult and your best bet is to try and stop the watering, eye drops applied before makeup application can help ❤️
Thank you, I'll try it 😊

I would use more hydrating products for your skin type. This may make it look more dry. Stick to a hydrating primer but keep everything water based ❤️

I’ll try doing a video relating to this soon!

If it has a mix then you should be ok with either
@NinaUbhi1 thankyou for your help 😄
Liquid over powder then more powder? I'm terrified to try that one.
It can be intimidating at first, but give it a shot! You might be pleasantly surprised.
❤️❤️❤️🙏🏽
Hello my beautiful friend❤
Hello 😊
