I think the comments about Kat is helping understand that we love her role in all of this, that she speaks English acceptably, and that she is easy on the eyes. You can see it in her demeaner.
Hi Michael. Great to see you and kat are enjoying yourselves. BTW.. who's minding the business while both of you are away. A piece of advice coming from a businessman.. never leave your business to someone other than the owners. Temptations easily kicks in to hustle/swindle your profits/sales away
That sounds like a slavery. Rather buy stocks and let the smartest people on Earth to run your business and work for you while you are at the beach. Beaver restaurant cannot beat long term compounding of US stock market anyway so why to bother to try. You will never get 10% more profit every year decade after decade in any bar or restaurant so why bother.
This place is incredible.. Nice but somehow it's like the Philippines... It's nice to see places such like this.. But the funny thing is that the communications is quite difficult because few people know how to speak in English 😀😂 or no one knows how to ꇙꉣꏂꋬꀘ ꏂꋊꍌ꒒꒐ꇙꁝ. Funny thing is the "Dodo" which means papaya but you know what's Dodo in Filipino. 🤣🤣I love Larra soooo cute..
That what I was saying in comments entire time. Its dumb to judge entire country by one multimillion city and tourist or financial districts full of high rise buildings. Manila has that as well.
Papaya in Vietnamese is Du Du and not DoDo and it's pronounced differently . Most of the Vietnamese people don't speak English because Vietnam was not colonized by the Americans like the Philippines .
Use Google Translate . But to be honest Google doesn't always give a good translation and sometimes can lead to misunderstandings . FYI there are male and female monks in Vietnamese Buddhism . There is no sex discrimination in religion here . The monks and nuns can meet each other during the day to pray and work together but of course they don't stay in the same monastery/pagoda. The young future monk said to you " xin chao cac ban " which mean "hello my friends ". Besides the bananas there are also the papayas (Du Du in Vietnamese ) . The other green stuff that you didn't know what it was , is actually a mature lotus flower that you can eat the seeds inside . It's called Bup Sen and the seeds Hot Sen . Pandan is a kind of leaf that gives a nice flavor to iced creams , yoghurts , drinks , smoothies and many other desserts . If you have time , do more researches about Buddhism , a very tolerant , open-minded and peaceful religion in Asia .
Michael, your interaction with those kids made me think of some near Vinh Long. I posted their photos on your Facebook page concerning this part of your trip.
Yesterday I suggested that you take a tour to a town called Vung Tau, located on the China Sea where there is a beautiful beach and cheap and expensive hotels, great restaurants where you can c relax in the sunshine, explore the place. I am from the US and I lived in Vung Tau for 30 years. It's a very beautiful place full of tourists and beautiful ocean front hotels and restaurants. Go there, you will want to stay there.
I understand this was a Visa Run but Danang Vietnam has an international airport and that would have been a real cool holiday for you and Kat or even Nha Trang would have been great. Big cities do not make a holiday. I'm glad you found the joy in this trip
Hey! Since you have no idea where you are or where you want to go, you should just go back to the city of HCMC and take a tour. They will take you and guide you and return you back to the city.
Hmm our intention was to rent a motorbike and we had a specific town we planned to go to, but maybe you missed the early part where the motorcycle rental didn't work out so we had to think on our feet and already was out of the city by then
Vietnam is so quiet that I can barely hear you over all that traffic noise. Trash bags everywhere, litter on sidewalks. And cherry on top was barking dog, which you did not recorded. ROFL. I tought from comments that there are no barking dogs in entire Vietnam.
Well they never existed so I'm not sure why you are so worried but in Buddhism it is "Dragons, often called "Nāgas," are important in Buddhism because they are symbols of great wisdom and protecting abilities."
FYI old ignorant man , the Buddhists don't worship the dragons . Those animal statues are there just for decoration . Also the dragons are just legendary animals and according to the legend the Vietnamese people are descendants of a dragon and a fairy .

Absolutely brilliant mate.
Keeps getting better.
Nice day 👍
Wow that’s amazing , thank you for taking us there.👏👏👏
What great video !
Watching you launch the drone and catch it at the end of the video would be great 5-second clip insertions.
Beautiful view
Far more expensive than budgeted. And a far more memorable adventure because of spontaneity.

Great footage, looks like you both are having fun. Watched Frank and Fel’s trip today also

@@larrylegg8245 definitely was thinking about it but it's 2 hours each way and we wanted to see the countryside at the time

Yea a couple friends have told us they enjoyed there a great deal!
Nice country
Great job on this one, Mike.
Great video.
Nice
There are Buddhist sites in Philippines as well. I hope you have time to vlog there as well. Great video 🎉
Buddhist sites in the Philippines ? are you sure ? Maybe you mixed up with Thailand .
Love your video
Watching a piece of the Google translate effort would have been fun.
Which hotel did you stay and how many days and cost ?
It was included in the last video but $50 a night for the largest room and called Kunkin Garden Apartments. We stayed 5 nights with 3 different rooms
@ thank you Michael
Mike a visa run would be much better in Da Nang City in Vietnam.

Google is so outdated. Especially when it comes to businesses. They have been there and gone, but still on Google as a business.
Those little guys are chipmunks. Lol
you need to take Kat to Kat-man-do :)
That seems very fitting
Kat, owing it
Why not buy some candy and give it out to the kids at the temple ... or a ball.

Mike is busy videoing for us while Cat walks in the middle of the road looking at her cell phone to take pictures. Praying they make it back ok.
Its 21 st century and genders are equal. its rude to make woman sit on some side just because she is a woman.

Pretty sure the trash bags is because it's garbage pick up day, wouldn't you think the same?
@@ThatPhilippinesLife Maybe. My country has zero trash bags in streets even on pick up day. Humans invented trash bins a long time ago.
You love dragons? Research the history of dragons. Start with Quetzalcoatl the winged Serpent. Looks like those Monks worship the Dragon. = not good.
