This show is so fucking good. I didn't expect that I'd enjoy it as much as I do. Initially the whole Harry Potter with hand gestures vibe were a bit strange but the epic story coupled with the adult tone of the show has made this show one of my all-time favorites! Now it's just the dilemma of watching the new episodes as they come out or waiting a while so I can binge them over a weekend. So far I've caved and I'm watching the first 3 episodes tonight. Awesome recap as well, btw. Very well done!

@@yangeryanger In the 2nd book, the Old Gods want to take magic away although it never happens (not really a big spoiler.) As we saw on the show, magic went away and there were a few bits they incorporated from the show (Muntjac, Blackspire, Key Quest, etc) but that's as far as it went. The memory wipe never happened in the books and a lot of Season 4 will be made-up like in the previous season. Maybe not as much though, as I read there's significant events from the books taking place in S4. So long story short, The Magicians has gone a different path after Season 2. They changed the order with a lot of things. In away this is fresh, but I still want them to remain true to the books. Even if it's a little.
