Thanks for watching. I added a parts list of what i used in the description. I highly recommend to anyone interested in building one to check out the 4200 wiki!
Definitely watching all other videos. Actually first time watching been wondering if any one did want to do a trailblazer. Actually very happy to come across this now that its kicking ass
Glad I found this build, I just dropped off my 4L80E at the shop to get built before I embark on the turbo setup on my 05 TB. There's limited information out there on these and I want to do an 06+ head swap. I really want to have an intercooler without methanol since it's a long distance tow vehicle with no intention of drag racing, nonetheless your build is great to see. Do you know much about head interchangeability?
Are you doing anything with the transmission..... jw currently have my trailblazer on the lift blew the transmission fucking around at the street races and Wana do a sleeper style build hopefully next summer but I feel these transmission will be changed weekly on boost
Yea im a little worried about it. Currently playing it by ear. Will bump the line pressure as i e been told it helps them live. Id love to put a manual trans in if the 4l60 takes a crap.
Is that the smallest volume accumulator that you would recommend for this engine? I am thinking about a muscletrike build and space is a premium unless I want a madmax bike with stuff hanging off everywhere. Would you recommend the rear sump oilpan mod even if running an accumulator?
probably dont need an accumulator if you have a rear sump pa with proper baffling. but i didnt have that option and this was the easiest solition. could always go with a dry sump setup and never have an issue lol
The 90 deg directly attached to the oil filter housing? This fitting has been used in many applications already and has been doing well. Its a large ID being an 8AN fitting so it allows for a good amount of oil flow. I agree its not ideal, but under pressure, i think it will be fine.
Yes. 06/07 are as well. But the 08/09 got the e67 which is the same as the solstice, ctsv, and zr1. Its a great computer. Flex fuel compatible as well.

You are exactly right about the check valve, I design hydraulic power units the same way to isolate the accumulators from the pumps.
Saw ya in Trailvoy....just doing some reading and saw your post. Clicked your links and now im here lol
Welcome! Lol. I only posted there at the recommendation of Calvin. I need to check that post lol
Definitely watching all other videos.

As far as i know any of the heads can be used on any of the motors. the 06+ heads flow the best for sure.

Probably gonna see what even is a dry sump
I wonder if the washer tank could be repurposed as the injection tank?
It definitely could be! but most likely, i will use whatever tank comes with the kit so i can still clean my windshield lol
Is the computer original for the car and what is the type of turbo?
Yes it is the stock ecu. the 08/09 use the e68 computer which is uses the same processor as the ctsv and zr1 corvette.
turbo is a Pulsar S372
Is it possible to program on the original computer?
yes
The fitting coming out of the oil filter housing is too tight of a bend, it will be a restriction.

@@J-Whit I work in oil and gas instrumentation. Hydraulics at this pressure won't care about the elbow, it's not like a vacuum line.
Is the 09 trailblazer ecm tunable

Ok I got a 09 trailblazer and your videos make me want to start a new project
What turbo is that?
That is an S372
