Why does everyone make it a competition over whose a better musician? Just enjoy the music, because it's about how good the music they make is, not how good a musician is.
Its pretty awesome that they can actually sound good live..... its rare ...... if a band doesn't sound good live you know that they truely have no talent....
@BlacklightBackflip Alex and Jack are both using types Les Paul's in this song. Alex I know is using an '86 because I have one. I am not sure the actual model type of Jack's.
@nlo13 That's nderstandable. Not too many ATL fans would know about Brooks. He drums for Bad Religion, Tenacious D, The Vandals, and has recorded for many other bands. Tony Thaxton is in Motion City Soundtrack, and Cyrus Bolooki is from my New Found Glory. I also forgot to mention Longineu Parsons from Yellowcard, he is also better than Rian and Travis.
@beenobluhh umm it depends. I have the iPod version that's an 1hour 16 minutes. then i got the physical copy and that has the show and the footage separate from each other, so i think the show portion is about an hour and the footage is forty minutes maybe.
@metallicaxfreek66 They can do that though, ahah they've done it before in their live performances for this song. The only part they dont play themselves is pretty much the ending. It gives Alex and Jack more freedom to run and jump around and interact with the fans while singing. Alex would be stuck in one spot while singing and he wanted to interact with the crowd more. Plus, you cant compare bands such as MMI, WCAR because their vocalists dont have to play instruments and sing in a mic.
