Dude I’m so sad. I’m a senior that barley didn’t make the cut for jazz All-State my first and final year trying on tenor sax, and all of my friends that tried out made it in. They’re playing this as their opener, it’s all I wanted in high school, and now it’s gone forever😭. Ellington music, and in a competent group.
This makes me sad cause my band got into the savannah music festival, which isn’t quite essentially Ellington but still something, but it’s canceled obviously so that’ll never happen :(
