Hi Bob, not sure if you'll get this on such an old post !
I'm going to try and do the same with mine. Am I correct in thinking all I need to get a hold off are a 3 double chord locks and some biners ?
Thanks for doing the video, I'd have written off the Snugpak if I couldn't get the ends cinched up 🤣

I used one double cord lock at each of the 4 corners. Then by pulling up on the line that would lift that corner to make a better contact I was able to control and keep the heat in. If it gets too hot I can relax them and let out some of that heat. The two cords running through the cord lock can share the same biners. Hope this helps. Basically, experiment with what works best.

@@bobamos3628 thanks Bob 👍 I tried it out today, it's a Hennessy Asym zip hammock I have so I'm going to have to look for those ridgeline hook things to pull up the sides. The blanket just didn't fit too well on the sides.

@@naepace Yeah, The Hennessy is tough to fit. I started with a Hennessy and got mine to work well with the Snugpack, Mine is a "birth canal" type with the opening under the hammock. I had to slide the UQ to the side and then pop it in place from inside. It worked well in the end though. I no longer use the Hennessy as it has an issue. It is also a collectable "Snap-On Tools" edition specially made for them in 1999.

It took me till almost 10 minutes into the video to notice your T-shirt. That's funny. I just bought this underquilt recently. I appreciate the pointers

You should see the reaction people that are not involved in hammock hanging give me when they see it. I usually say that "It pay to advertise". Then I explain what it means... Glad that I was helpful on the underblanket.

Thanks Bob!! Wow I really really like this set up. I now see what you mean on the centers cordage. The way you used that tag and adding the locks was a great idea. I like how you can snug up the center to keep out the cold. this is a great mod for the Snugpak. Now I can not wait to get a Snugpak!!
    The audio sounded good!
Thank You so much for the very kind words. That was very kind of you. I will add a link back to your channel and put a card or link in the video as well back to this video. Thanks Again my Friend! Now I can not wait to get a Snugpak!!

Glad I could help. You will like the Snugpak. Loads of coverage to help keep you warm. Best of all, it won't cost you an arm and a leg.

Bob, does this setup allow for under sag in the quilt between the hammock and underquilt? I have this underquilt and find if you don't have sag any stretched or tight areas crate cold spots without fail. I set up very differently and focus more on sag than closing in the ends.
    Sound quality seemed great 👍🏻

Sorry for the delay in responding. Just found this question. Once I set up the sag of the hammock the underqulit is installed and adjusted in such a way to give me the clearance that I want. The cold happens if the UQ is too tight up against the hammock or if any warmed air I allowed to escape. Adjusting the UQ takes a little time and experimenting.

@@bobamos3628 cheers Bob, now running mine a little different with a ENO hammock. I was out at the weekend and found a short extension to the 'sag' line (the inner one) was all I needed. Then of course a little fiddle with the side lines to get her set.
Still very grateful for your video, it give me options to consider.
      P.S I had a wonderful sleep 😴
