HEY GUYS, FOUND A GREAT DEAL ON A FULL FILTER SERVICE KIT IN CASE YOU'RE IN THE MARKET FOR ONE: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M6VFWDN/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=trialnerror-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B01M6VFWDN&linkId=e34b5893c40670d5b85f1da67cbe60f8
You got that right! I started off with a plow truck and used it for a couple years. I ended up running out of room to push the snow and still had a ton of shoveling to do in the tight areas that I couldn't get the truck in. This little tractor has worked out so well and paid for itself multiple times now. Thanks for watching!
That was an awesome video! I love the deep snowfall. I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and we get around 280 inches of snow every winter. Many storms dump over inches of snow, and I love getting out there and plowing with my truck and tractor. Seriously thanks for posting that epic snowblowing video!
I just got a Kubota RTV 1100c with the snow attachments. It sure is better than a shovel. Your little tractor made short work of a really big job. That alone would have made me smile.
You have a Kubota, I have a JD 47" 2-stage on a 29 HP JD. You moved a lot of snow there so I say that your Kubota is a ROCK STAR!!! I loved this video! The deepest that I've ever blown is about 2 feet deep. Mine is a rock star to. Thanks for sharing this video even though you were worn out moving snow all day long. I gave you a thumbs UP!!!!!
2 feet of snow at once for a snow blower is doing pretty good regardless of color. I have a 42" that goes on my lawn tractor, I bought it the year after our apocalyptic snowy winter with 2 feet of snow in the driveway for a month and a half. Last 2 years since we've maybe had about a foot of snow combined, I got to try the blower out on an 8" snow storm, its a 3 stage blower to anything less than 8 inches and it don't work as well but it does work for what its designed to do, does a great job and makes it take so much less time than using a shovel. The biggest issues is the snow plow goes by and throws the snow into my driveway so it gets packed really bad the 3 stage blower tackles that without any problems.
I have a 2002 JD x595 with a plow & 47" blower. The tractor has successfully handled every snow storm that has come my way! I'm considering wheel weights this year; never needed/used chains. A lil' extra weight in the rear wouldn't hurt ,,,,,,,😎.
The more I look into these tractors the more I am trying to find room in the budget to buy one and all of the attachments I want! Loader, pallet forks, backhoe, mower, snow blower, grappler, box blade.
Wow... that was a real apocalyptic snow. I couldn't even tell what model of tractor you had until you started to move out. We had a similar situation 2 years ago where we got 30" and I almost waited too long to go out and literally had a hard time getting out to the garage to free the tractor.
Wow that’s a lot of snow. The most we’ve ever had was 22” and that was tough in N.C. I would love to see a comparison between ur kabota and a ventrac on this deep deep snow
Great vid. Can tell by the sound running auger your two bearings that drive the big sprocket need some tlc. Or the two Allen key set screws backed off and your sprocket is wearing a groove in the bolt that cover latches onto. Happened here. Ended up wearing the chain down too while big sprocket was floating back and forth in shaft. Didn’t come apart but close. All around great machines those kubotas!!
Awsom setup you got there, just wish in beginning you went over specs, what size mod.number tractor and blower and the blade on the back really impressed me, I'm looking to get a setup and that would be perfect.
I live in east central Iowa--we have lots of wet sticky snow 20 years ago we got a MTD 18.5 hp utility tractor with a 4 foot 2 stage blower..needs some tlc this spring but still gets the job done.. I need a heated cab 28 inches of snow last week and 35 mph wind -31F without chill factor
Great Video, seems like you have a good setup for snow removal. Is that a factory cab on your tractor? How loud is it inside? I have a B7800 and am thinking of putting a cab on it for my old age. Kudos for doing the neighbors driveway. I also have a plow truck and there are a few neighbors that I don't hear from until we get a major snow storm. I have one that always shows his appreciation with fresh baked cookies. That's better than cash.
Thanks Chris! I built the cab from scratch and it is loud inside but still quieter than the tractor was without a cab. Most of the time I wear hearing protection because I already have tinnitus. The cab was without question the best thing I ever did to this machine. In the summer it keeps me cooler and the winter, completely warm.
I live in Canada between Toronto & Montreal & the last 4 storms you have had went south of Lake Ontario. I think you guys are now called the Great White North.
How much does a machine like that cost? Most people consider a 700 dollar snow blower a major purchase that has to be near 20.000 for something like that perhaps more
Very well! But the wet asphalt means that you still have non frozen ground and snow melting is still possible, not so fast as you moved snow but possible. It is harder to clean snow when you got ice on the ground and every new snow storm multiplies snow drifts.
holy cow that a proper dang blizzard rite there !!! ready for another year ? more videos this was cool im way in the south i dont get to see any snow lol
great vid! looking to buy a kubota tractor for cabin. came up to 4' of snow and spent the weekend shoveling. would you suggest the front blower over the rear? I hate the idea of turning my neck and driving in reverse to blow . . .
I've got a 2015 new holland t4060 with a 7 foot pto snowblower. All the stickers are off of it, cant remember who it's made by. Makes moving snow pretty easy.
Mine are 61" I've got the orchard version with super steer. Great tractor. Correction the t4060f is a 2014. Have 5 new Holland are very close in size, all orchard versions, all have super steer. 2002 tn95fa, 2004 tn90f, 2014 t4060f, 2015 t4.105, last but not least 2015 t4.110 biggest size and power wise.
Thats why i like my fullsize farm tractor. Im hoping to get my brakes fixed on my 97 f350 by the end of Saturday so i can load the tractor up and with the thaw im going to do my best to open the church parking lot back up in size cause the plow service we use does it with trucks and we lost a bit of parking and we are at a good size for the parking lot. I believe as budget allows we are looking to expand but we just paid off over $300000 building loan in like 3 years so we got to use what parking we have available for now Oh and by the my tractor is a 57 JD 520 which does about 25 to 30 hp but wieghs in around 7000 lbs with loader on
That looks like the kinda snow we get here in Northern Oswego county N.Y. Definitely lake effect snow. I call it fluff. Not uncommon to get 2, 3, or even 4ft at a time. Most I've seen was 6ft in 3days. There was alot of roof shoveling that year.
Tractor did a nice job. Gotta ask why you would do a job like that with reduced visibility due to a foot of snow on the hood ....... and cab? Would have taken 1 minute to clear it off.
Great video. We're from off of exit 18. The snow is gorgeous.... Until u have to move it. Haha. That Kubota is beast. Only suggestion would be to go a little slower and let the blower work to clear itself not plow the snow and throw it. Those sheaves bearings and belts will thank you. The plow blade off the back was a great idea too btw
Yup, the #NoSpring year. We had cold and snow down here in CT as well in March and April 2018 .. Not that much though. WOW! Probably didn't melt till May.
I think you need a bigger Kubota and blower. I really like that you have your BarBque mounted on your tractor in case you get stuck and stranded. Chive on!
I have been seriously looking at a GR2120 and the salesmen have been pushing me into a BX1880, giving me their usual reasons; more attachments etc etc. All I need is a riding snow blower with enough traction to make it up a steep 20 degree incline in NH's heavy, wet, snow. I want a diesel engine with enough guts to do the job. I haven't seen any videos of any 1880 going uphill to that length ( 100 ft) and degree (20) yet. Do you think your machine could do the job? Have you had any or many parts break on this machine? I do like your rig and the way it eats that snow. I would appreciate a reply if you could make the time. Thank you for a very, very good video.

sure never beat the kubota in that snow
This will always be one of my all times favorite BX plow videos.. well done sir.. I watch it every year lol
Same!
With that much snow,I think the results are much better than had you plowed with a pickup. Thanks for sharing !
You got that right! I started off with a plow truck and used it for a couple years. I ended up running out of room to push the snow and still had a ton of shoveling to do in the tight areas that I couldn't get the truck in. Glad to see someone actually measure the snow depth.
I caught what you said at the very beginning....and you are correct, my man!
I just got a Kubota RTV 1100c with the snow attachments. It sure is better than a shovel. Your little tractor made short work of a really big job. That alone would have made me smile.

Loved my BX2230 with the blower. It was a great snow moving machine! (Had to upgrade to an L3400 for a bigger property)
The more I look into these tractors the more I am trying to find room in the budget to buy one and all of the attachments I want! Loader, pallet forks, backhoe, mower, snow blower, grappler, box blade.
I used a loader on my BX1880 for a 200'+ driveway in Central New York, 220" a year. Does a great job.
Great video loved it. Could not have got the same results with a plow.
So much nicer than trying to find a place to pile it up with a plow. Alot more effective. That's an awesome little machine I'm jealous
People always have something bigger and better you got a nice rig there
I'm weird, but I wouldve liked to heard the cold start.lol... great vid.id be happier than a pup with two Peter's if I got to be in that stuff!!!
Wow... that was a real apocalyptic snow. I couldn't even tell what model of tractor you had until you started to move out. We had a similar situation 2 years ago where we got 30" and I almost waited too long to go out and literally had a hard time getting out to the garage to free the tractor.
I live in the Denver metro area, we used to get snow like that. Not anymore it seems.
Hard to believe Denver isn't getting healthy amounts of snow even in the lower areas.
@@Trialnerror the last bad winter was 2006-07. Not much since.
Nice setup. Blower on the front and blade on the rear.
Wow that’s a lot of snow. The most we’ve ever had was 22” and that was tough in N.C. I would love to see a comparison between ur kabota and a ventrac on this deep deep snow
have delivered a lot of these packages up here in maine and the owner is always impressed

hard to tell who the expert is between the two of you. one of you is right, one is wrong ... i just can't tell.
Are you a tractor whisperer? 🤣
your snowblower does a good job considering the amout of snow that is a trooper
Upstate NY we get a 2 footer every season. Question each year is will we get a 3 footer?
Yea, we prob average one 2 footer every 2 years. I Love em!
Nice little set up.gets er done in comfort
Enjoyed the video, im in Rochester NH and just got my first snowblower but still working out the kinks.
Can you tell me what the benefits of the rear blade are?
Unbelievable!! What model is that Kabuta?
Awesome job bro with your Kubota.Lots of snow ❄️
that little kubota is a beast
Awsom setup you got there, just wish in beginning you went over specs, what size mod.number tractor and blower and the blade on the back really impressed me, I'm looking to get a setup and that would be perfect.
I have to say ,this is my favorite video, you cant even see what tractor it is, until a spot opens up...lol
Impressive little machine...
Impressive little beast. Love the cab.
Thanks 👍
Thats a lot of snow. The little Kubota did great.
I was thinking that car didn't have enough snow on it glad you fixed that lol 🤣
Nice set up.beast mode
Wow that back drag plow is great. So efficient when backing up to maneuver.
Love your setup, from Minnesota.
Thanks for the well done and interesting video.

Very pretty place u have , enjoyed your video
Great vid, well done. But what tractor do you have and the attachment that were in the video as well please,,,, thank you....
Is that little cab heated and defroster?
Have you had any trouble with the front blower? I have one and they are made way to light thinking of buying a rear mount to get a heavier blower.
That snow blower is awesome!!!
That lil guy did a Great job ! I am impressed ! So, did you have any Heat in the cab?

Hi is that a kubota cab or homemade one looks grest
Thank you! I made it from scratch. Just steel tubing and a lot of time ;) Beats the hell out of paying $6,000 for a real one IMO.
@@Trialnerror i have a 1023 jd i will make out of wood frame and make lexan for windows
haha now your neighbour has 4 ft of snow
Lol
Thats the idea I don't control the wind i tell the neighbor

Kubota is a great product, super durable, good investment
Yeah. They really hold their value throughout the years. One of the best resale values.
MAN THAT REALLY LOOKS LIKE A SHIT TON OF FUN..

that baby really cranks out the snow great blower !
My old Simplicity 7116 throws snow about the same after an 18hp Vanguard repower. Nice machine though.
Is. That a factory cab?

Suggestion take 1/2 or less of your snowblower width this way you wont have as much to go back and clean up .
That little tyke is eating it up, nice!
Do you want to put that thing in the garage
man thats a lovely tractor and a good video angle
LOOKS SO NICE AND FUN.
Nice house and a decent job on the tractor but lets see you get those steps.....LOL
... you did a great job my man...A+...
like the toy ! NICE, have not see that much snow..........and I hope I never will
You just can't beat a Kubota, they are the best of the best!
Need some drift knives on that thing ,they really work good in snow that deep.
For sure. We don't get this much snow in one shot very often but if we did I would for sure make up some drift cutters.
What are two feet compared to cm? 50?
So you got 22 inches of partly cloudy.Do you have heat in there?Nice machine.
Tractor did a nice job. Gotta ask why you would do a job like that with reduced visibility due to a foot of snow on the hood ....... and cab? Would have taken 1 minute to clear it off.
Live in Upstate NY, is this near Keene, NH area, spend lots of time in Keene area in SUMMER! LOL
Nice little machine!

Yup, the #NoSpring year. We had cold and snow down here in CT as well in March and April 2018 .. Not that much though. WOW! Probably didn't melt till May.
What model is that?
I think you need a bigger Kubota and blower. I really like that you have your BarBque mounted on your tractor in case you get stuck and stranded. Chive on!
I don’t think so. Looked like it handled it fine! BX 2670 here.
Seems like they work great
looks light and fluffy, would've sucked if it was heavy and wet
No, it would have blowed
it wouldnt bother kubota she'll chew any soft, wet or hard or icey snow like kife cutting through butter there that powerful
@ kubota T1860 18hp diesel with a pto shaft on front will blow snow
@ kubotas tough machines when in snow like that wich ther the best and powerful kubota snowblower
Seems the blower still works with some snow on the roof.@
And folks say men can’t multitask. Blew that theory all to hell with snowblowing and plowing simultaneously 👍🏼
thats a good workout for most snow blowers..a Herculean effort for a kubota
For a quick second at 1:13 the Kubota looked like a mini skidder under the snow.
I have been seriously looking at a GR2120 and the salesmen have been pushing me into a BX1880, giving me their usual reasons; more attachments etc etc.

I have done that much and more by hand I live in Pennsylvania I don't like snow
Lookin' out the front window, with tears in my eyes... no snow today for me and the tractor 😥
After the 1st row. you should one use 1/2 the width of the blower. makes cleaner line and less load on the machine.
Normally that is what you have to do, but he has a rear plow thing that can take care of it.
I'm pissed, I want know I'm trying to ride my rmk. Holy got 6 inches and it just rained
heck..if a 80s 300 series JD can push thru 3ft of snow.. I would hope a new larger model today could do 2!! lol
