    Very, very happy to see outcome. I can’t begin to imagine how maddening and frustrating that had to have been for the residents of Dimock to live 12+ years with contaminated water and have their own representatives tell them to just get used to it and call them liars. The DEP & EPA failed them, their state reps failed them.
    Given the fact that the maximum penalty would be $600,000 (pocket money for companies that have profits in the 10s of millions), I don’t know how Shapiro’s team got Cabot to admit criminal guilt, pay 16+ million for new water line and treatment facility, 75 years worth of free water plus bottle water for the next 3-4 years until the new pipe line is built. Very happy for Dimock, and sorry that it took so long

    While i agree this problem should have been taken care of long ago. And the industry has done many,many good things for dimock which is not mentioned. What is disturbing is how shapiro absolutely made this political for the midterm vote
