Hey adam, I’ve been watching you since I was roughly 7 years old, I’m now 16 and racing motocross. You’ve motivated me to get this far and I love all you’re videos, I have a 2019 ktm 125 two stroke. When ever I feel sad I just get on here and watch one of you’re videos and it cheers me right up. I love you’re videos mate.
Wow, 9-years of Motology 👍 Thanks for the support mate, glad my films have helped you out.

Dude your 45 😱 I swear I thought u were like mid 30s hats off to ya, absolutely killing life! 👌
51 here I’ve slowed down a LOT from when I was racing here in So Cal. Funny thing I’m still faster then 3/4 of my buddies. I love it when I break out my 93 CR250R two or three times a years “Is that a 500” no it’s a 250 “damn your hang with all of use on 450s” yea I am lol
Great video w perfect amount of reality based info and sweet ride footage, always fun. One thing that I try to do before any rear suspension tweaks in order to soften the harshness of a motocross bike turned enduro, was to run an 18” rear wheel assembly, usually with a big fat juicy tire one that works for the type of terrain you are riding, it will change the feel out back instantly. Test it out to see if you need to spend the bucks on new spring and valving etc. Wheels aren’t cheap but lacing up your own using the stock hub is cost effective and a good thing to learn how to do. Plus you have more options for enduro type tires w 18” rather than 19”. Thanks for the video Adam cheers from Canada
I’ve enduro’d a 2002 CR250R as well. Heavy flywheel, Gnarly pipe, 18” rear wheel. I run a 13/48 which seems right on the trails. Good video!
Such a good vid I had an 02 as well. All I did was bush guards and an 18 inch wheel. Thing was more enjoyable than and other bike I’ve had for single track. I hate smooth power. My 300 sucks
Incredible video, CR is the true initiation in enduro, spirit, power, and its beautiful sound that listening to it through the forest is music to my ears.
Greetings from Chile, a fan of your videos and technique
Made the kids day again mate. "Dad, the dirt kitchen guy as a new video".
Good to see a new interesting vid about my favorite 2 stroke. I'm not a active rider longer but i was when i began to watch your channel 3-4years ago, and I cant stop..... Do never stop making this vids, it gives me a chance to dream me back to OZ to. Been there a year at year 2003, now i longing back all the time😍😍😍👍👍
Really glad to hear from you - may you and yours stay healthy. And many thanks for the setup tips!
Another great video Adam, I love watching these videos when I can't be out riding.
Welcome back to you. Another great video. Best bit of viewing on a thrusday evening. Keep them coming.
Once again a brilliant vid, keep them coming mate, i could sit here and watch them all day.
I kept the magazine article for ages and may still have in my shed of how you and Ross built the engine to suit enduro. Great vids mate. From a fellow south wester 👍
Always learn something useful in your videos, I have a 2019 Beta 300RR that I was almost ready to give up on, the thing was a fire breathing dragon that was too hard to control. After watching this video I bought the fatty pipe and I absolutely love the bike now. Thanks!
Thank you for another informative video contribution. Always look forward to your CR250 footages !
Pure and simple few bike tweaks and get on with seat time and enjoying the whole experience. Great way to have my morning coffee watching these videos. can't wait to go riding after lunch😊. I must say bit jealous if the weather you have coz it's pouring down again in South Wales UK🤷♂️
That is one of the best sounding Two Strokes I've ever heard
Thanks for taking me to school man... Learned new things.... been doing light enduro trails here in El nido. ✌🤘
i transform a YZ 250 to an enduro for european race
pretty much did the same as you - flywheel of 11oz is just a blast give the bike a better feel when cornering at low speed
for me you also need to change the fuel system and ad a "reserve" and you can heat the tank in a proper way and extend the volume of fuel by 2L otherwise 50km max with the stock one.
My ol' 2006 yz250 2t loves the bush and track! all around weapon. love your content ARiemann!
I'm a amputee and always have rode mx 2strokes set up for the bush , go a steering damper , gpr underbar mount ,, doesn't change your handlebars height but adds to overall handling prowess ! 10 points adam keep it up !
More of such videos are welcomed, and you at 45 Living the Right Life Love it.
Great video Thanks.
Seriously amazing content. Great videography and refreshingly honest. THANK YOU!
Awesome video on the CR250R. I'd really like to see you tweak an CRF450R in the same manner to give it a more enduro like feel in the woods. It's got good power delivery after adding a fuel injection controller. With that being said, your videos are an asset to our growth in this sport. Please keep your awesome videos coming I'm always looking forward to the new ones. Much mahalo from the boiz out here in the middle of the ocean in Hawaii.
HI MATE, IT SEEMS WE ALL LOVE YOUR VIDS. MAKE MORE. EVEN WEEKLY IF YOU CAN. EVERYTHING YOU PUT OUT IS GOLD.
Thanks for doing these videos Adam, they are top notch! I am 44 years old and also from the days of enduro conversion bikes.
Other than the newer bikes having a nice 6-speed wide ratio transmission compared to the 5-speed on the older bikes, I think those older motocross bikes converted to enduro can work just as well as the newer bikes. I had a 99 CR 250 we converted to enduro. One of the best bikes I've owned!
After riding 250 and 300 2-stokes for over 25 years, including a handful of enduro and desert races on them, I decided to try something ultra lightweight. So I am currently riding a 2019 KTM 150 XC-W. Super playful and fun to ride! Maybe consider testing one and doing a video on one. Obviously not a lot of bottom-end torque, but surprisingly useful and strong mid-range, and threatens to knock you off the bike in the top-end. :)
You need to try a Lectron, i run them on all my 2 strokes now and they really smooth out the top end hit when standard carbs come on to the main jet. You'll get people saying "you don't need them or there not worth the money" but anyone who has actually used one will never say that. There's a reason why every rider in the AMA allstars 125cc series and redbull strait line rhythm runs them...... cheers
My ‘95 CRF250R with REP tuned suspension an FMF Gnarly and turbine core 2, a 10oz STEAHLY flywheel weight, Bridgestone UHD tubes, SHINKO 216 fat tyre, 525 cheater rear and 14/48 gearing. It is a great woods Rippah.#SteelFramesLivesMatter
Nice video Adam, Man you haven’t changed much since i first started watching your yz450 vids like 10 years ago! lol 👍😆
Sweet dirt sled Riemann and top video. I reckon this grass roots info is perfectly pitched 🍻
Hi Adam , yes growing up through the eighties most of us had 2 stroke MX bikes that we used successfully in enduros . As a teenager I used a 1983 CR 125 then later an IT 490 k ( an enduro bike I know ) and now I have a 2007 CR 250 and I have done similar modifications as you have . The CR is an animal but it is so much fun ! Really enjoy your videos. Keep up the great work 👍
Hi Adam. Love your video’s . Wish I was still riding but my last stint in hospital, from a MTB crash put an end to it. Got an E MTB and loving that. Hope your life in WA is all you could wish for. Best wishes, Hugo. 👍🇦🇺
Stellar stuff as always.. love the vids man
Hard charging an old CR, cobbling up a KTM pipe guard to fit, using _actual_ spoons to fit a tyre.. This is keeping it real.
H
Hi Adam...best regards from old europe ✌️ great video! Love your passion for this MX GOAT....engine sounds pretty aggressive and high rpm in the Bush! Looking forward to your experience while taming th beast for enduro use 👍 stay healthy!!
keep on like this Aussie guy.My very best compliments.Enjoy the rest of people!!!!
Killer bike mate, just picked up a 06 CR250r. Getting back to grass roots and loving it. Keep up the good work bud.
Cheers
Keep it coming AR. Still the best moto content on the ‘Tube.
Did very similar with my yz250, gytr weight, found the stock expansion chamber with fmf Q silencer best for broad power, 2nd gear hill climbs it lugs right down and keeps pulling
Great film as usual and good info fella👍
I Like how you set up the suspension. I think a lot of guys forget that the spring is there to hold the bike in the proper position for bike geometry. The valving is where the magic happens.
Dirt bike riding is the Secret ingredient for age prevention. Adam you don't seem to age I've been watching your videos for more than 10 years and I must say you look great for your age. 😊 keep it up! I love your videos! I ride a yz250x its an enduro weapon but there are a few things missing. ! you should do a review on it and tell Yamaha Australia to put a wet clutch on it and electric start on it get the ball rolling.
2016 KTM 500 Exc. bought it new. First Dirt bike. I'm staring at 50. I enjoy your films and hope take a Naxos or similar trip some day. Brought the family to Greece a few years ago Absolutely stellar trip. I do my own maintenance so keep the films coming. I'll make some of my own.
Thanks Adam! Good info without selling something as others do.
Awesome vid as always hope you can do some more dirt kitchen vids soon 👍🏻🤙🏼🇦🇺
Years ago I got to ride a CR250 that had a 265 kit and flywheel weight. It was an absolute dream to ride. Often consider trying to build one for myself, but don't have the means or room in the garage. Also can't part with my '16 KTM 500 EXC.
KTM 500exc is my favorite 4-stroke. There, I said it.
I have my own CR250 2006 bought brand new.I did the same mods for woods like you and many more.Enjoy!!!
I like the format and discussion!
Questa moto è sempre stata il mio sogno. Adesso l'ho trovata e sono felicissimo!!
Loved it as always ❤️
Get the valving done ..do u mean valve it mx style ..I am too heavy for my yzx ..I need springs I know..but I wanna ride mx with it too..should I valve it full on mx?
One of your videos motivated me to buy 2002 Honda CR250, I rebuild it completely. I have KTM EXC 300 2020 also and I like it. But sometimes I choose CR250, this bike is so emotional, always smile after riding it. It feels like a wild animal compares to KTM.
Great video as usual ! Best on youtube if off road dirt bikes are your thing.
Rad video thanks for the tips
I would love to see you on the pipe in a beta 300rr 👍
Nice job with the CR 🔥🔥
Did you keep the 19inch rear? How does that compare to an 18inch for tire choice sidewall height etc?
That thing sounds unreal! real broad strong meaty sounding power 👌🏼
Just Awsome keep em coming on the CR 👌🍻
Nice set up. I have an 02 cr250. I am going with a fly wheel weight, and 13 front 50-52 rear sprocket, trying to make it a little more linear.
Great vid, love your Take it Easy Style
heheheeh nice man ..i love the video ..well done👍👍👌🏍
Hello I live in Brazil.
Which parts were used to place the headlight on the CR?
been looking forward to it all week
Great video🙌🏾
Just about to buy cr450 x 05 model haven't ridden for about 10 years be good to get back.last bike was husky wr 250 2000 model ,excited
G'day adam im marty i would like to se like how much fuel you would last on a big ride just curious to se how much it would use being a motorcrosser thannks mate for the awesome vids👌👍👍
Great Video as usual Adam. I just put a light kit on my YZ450F to get Rec Rego in Vic, (now a modzilla YR/ WZ450F) and will look to re-valve the suspension like you said, plush the girl up a little. Honda man for life but gotta say the Yami power tune option allows for great flexibilty from the moto track to enduro loops and i got the ultimate cross over beast. Kee
p the vids coming mate!!
Great vid Adam you are right the mx platform is the basis for anything you want to build d👍
Hi Adam I really enjoy your videos I've just converted my 2018 yz250f I've set up supenson to do endure and cross country and the engine I've put a big bore kit and run 13/49 gearing and it's a weapon in the bush . I don't really race I love the feeling of being free and living in the moment. What brand of head light do you have on your cr I like the style 👍
Yeeew sweeet ride I’m even liking the stealth pipe
with your fly wheel weight what oz wheel did you end up going?
Trop bien continue comme ça mec tu gérés de ouf toujours le premier
In the 90s and 2000s that's all we had and I love it
hi please could you give me a tip on setting up mikuni tmx38? I have a Honda Cr 250 2007 and I would like to tune it to the enduro, I still have a lot of fuel
Very cool! Your a weapon racing that!
Great Video.
I want you to know, your the reason I bought a dual sport. When I first saw your video where you went to Egypt, that started it for me. I didn't get a ktm but I got my first dual sport, wr250r. Been ripping every since
Uk88
I liked that one Adam. Good video.
Will be interested to see it race. 👍
Great video love from India
Always waiting for your videos....😂🤣😅
45 years old? He looks like he's 30 haha. Love your videos Adam 🏁
I think when you get started in enduro or hare scrambles, a softer suspension is nicer to learn on. Once you get faster, you start blowing thru your suspension and then have to upgrade. Thats how it evolved for me anyway. Also, racing on the East Coast of the US, expansion chambers were like upper skidplates 🤣. I went thru at least two pipes a season from being bashed or cracked.
awesome bike dude, good stuff :)
Awesome cr m8, I have a 99 cr250r and I love it👍
Amazing bike and video!
Excellent review/ project on shift off motocross over to enduro. I foresee some CR vs modern KTM EXC Husky showdowns. In the hands of the capable, at speed, expect very little difference in times on your loop. Bring in Hollis if you can run him off the couch.
Hey it may or may not be as quick through the bush as some of the newer stuff 4 strokes etc but the fun factor is at 11/10 and besides the fact that riding something thats trying to kill you really focuses your concentration, and you'll be a better rider for it besides anyone can hop on and easy bike and go quick
Nice video, Greetings from Germany :)
Can you link your tire changing stand that you use
Sick vid Riemann really liked it also that’s a wicked bike you got there 🤟
have u thought of changing the carb for a lectron or smart carb?
Hi Adam. I'm your's fan and I hav a CR250r 06'. I try to rebuild my bike for enduro. What's headlight on your ? and you hav installed Fly Wheel Weight? when i can order that parts? Thanks
Pragmatic real world info easy to understand and sensible, well done
Ive got the Rm250, love it..
Sick bike man I love the cr’s.
Is a mousse a good option for an adventure bike like the KLR650??
Geezus Adam you uploading at 2am Friday morning, graveyard shift🤘
It’s 12:50 where I am👍
Everything revolves around americans haha
My Basements on Fire True that, they screwed the moto world with 4ts and car market with overly complicated useless technology, next bikes and cars will have arse back and ball scratchers and what ever bs technology so people can be even more lazy and less responsible. Lest we get the 2t goodness’s with Adam, he’s not trying to BS us with the 4t sell.
He lives in wa
When uploading, I schedule it to go live at 12am where I live, so I'm fast asleep when it's released to the world 🌏
Mint looking bike mate 👌🏻
Hell yeah great video, ride red baby!
Nice set up Adam 👌
I like al your videos
