    what do you think of the tenor 2 (light?). how does it compare to others in the class or even to high-b?

  • @YankeeinSC1
    @YankeeinSC1 6 месяцев назад

    @5:38 sometimes my paramotor harness has enough slop to allow carabiner side loading on low wind forward launches. Never had it happen free flying. Messing with it in flight can help you find religion.

    Excellent! Very clean track log with no mucking about, super efficient.
    Is there a "right turn day" traffic understanding or is that just your preference?

      Glad you liked the video. 🙂 Oops, it seems you spotted my preference for right hand i.e. clockwise turns! 🤭

    Does the non-light version of the Tenor 2 behave more or less like the light one? Considering one for my first B, don't want it to be too fragile. By the way, great video and the animations for wind, turb etc are really helpful.

      @carloborsattino8815 6 месяцев назад +1

      Hi. Glad you enjoyed the video. Yes, having tested them both quite a bit, the standard and light weight versions of the Tenor 2 behave very similarly, with just the usual differences to be expected between them.

    Nice fligt.
    How does your agl measure? from the ridge directly below you, or from the valley floor?

    • @natewheeler3142
      @natewheeler3142 6 месяцев назад +1

      Usually uses downloaded topo data to measure from whatever is directly below you.

    • @flybubblecarlo
      @flybubblecarlo 5 месяцев назад

      As @natewheeler3142 wrote, AGL (above ground level) should be the distance from the ground directly below.

    Out of all the gliders you can fly why did you pick the Tenor Light ( i love this wing) ?

    • @mattpepper1143
      @mattpepper1143 6 месяцев назад +2

      I think he probably wants to show what entry level wings can do.. And to be fair most people who need these tips don't fly enzos.. its the right machine for the audience imv...

    Carlo! Do you have any thoughts on how your Tenor 2 Light compares to Nancy's Ion 7 light?

    • @carloborsattino8815
      @carloborsattino8815 6 месяцев назад +1

      Review of the Ion 7 and Ion 7 Light, with comparisons with other current low B wings including the Tenor 2 and Tenor 2 light, to follow. Both great wings, with different characters. In terms of performance, size for size, from our testing the Tenor 2 has the edge in glide and climb rate, most noticeable in lighter conditions; trim speed is very similar but the Ion 7 has a faster top speed (but collapses at top speed are more dynamic). The biggest differences are in their behaviour and character - launch, handling, feedback etc - as usual. More details in the Ion 7 review. If we have time we may also do a more detailed Tenor 2 and Tenor 2 light.

    Carlo, is the second video from you in which you fly with the riser not attached correctly 😂 (the other one is at Col Rodella)
    What's the problem?:)) do you want to highlight something or it's just another mistake?

    • @flybubblecarlo
      @flybubblecarlo 4 месяца назад +1

      We included this here and in other videos to highlight the mistake on my part to not secure the risers properly with rubber O-rings when using slim karabiners combined with risers with wide openings. This caused the risers to catch on the karabiner gates during launch. I added rubber O-rings to prevent it from recurring.
