My biological died when I was about 8 years old. I am the last born of 6. My mother died first and exactly 7 days later my dad followed. He's just another insecure man that seeks self gratification by preying on the "weak". Him making love to her was his way of reminding her of what they shared and it was supposed to make her change her mind. But when that didn't happen, it was the " it's either me or no one else" . My biological died when I was about 8 years old. I am the last born of 6. My mother died first and exactly 7 days later my dad followed. I have a friend who is same life now, don't know how to end. Other friends broke her hand in an obsession relationship until the accident as they said happened cause they needed her mother for support during treatment. This cause the mother to stop her relationship and she got strength to stop the relationship. She is a married lady to a different man and have two children. The first man left the country.

The blood covenant gave him 100 percent assurance that she would never leave and to have been told that the end had come, was too much for him to stomach. Him making love to her was his way of reminding her of what they shared and it was supposed to make her change her mind. But when that didn't happen, it was the " it's either me or no one else" . Hence the murder and suicide.
Knowing that she had a covenant to not leave him, she should have strategize a better way to leave, than following him in the bush and making love to him. In my secondary school days at Niger college , Edo state. Two young couples ended in tragedy after such convenant. I think when we are young we don’t understand how “love” (or what we think is love) can make you crazy, esp if a 3rd, 4th & so on, I person is brought into the relationship. A classmate of mine did something similar when I was in high school years ago. He and his girlfriend were inseparable. It was too much. They both stopped hanging out with anyone else. One day I was pressing my clothes for school and listening to night news. All I hear is my classmate name Vincent Brown mentioned on the news shot girlfriend and killed himself. The girlfriend broke up with him. He went to the girl house, and the moment she opened the door he shot her with his father's gun in the head. While running away in the street he took his gun and shot himself in the head. The girl didn't die, but he did. She was very beautiful and that was his first girlfriend. He took the break up hard. This story bring back memories.

Rest In Peace Mapalo. A guy had asked me to do a blood covenant and I told him no that I didn't believe in doing that. He kept on trying to get me to do it. kept telling me why he wanted too and why he wanted me to do it with him. I didn't do it. Why was he pushing me so hard to do one with him. He said that doing that means he'll love me forever. I'm like I just don't believe in doing stuff like that. I didn't understand how he said he was a God fearing man, but was still trying to pressure me into doing a blood covenant.
