      @@scottharris7222 Now I get it. Thanks! By the way someone on Facebook pointed out, the internal reverb always sends to both channels, so that it would be good to keep that in mind.

    want to know another cool trick? There is no filter on volca sample other than hi cut, but if you get a sample that has a super sharp filter EG on the front of it already baked in, like a moog click from a glitch sample or a clicky kick sample with a baked-in filter click on the front, if you loop it real short you can walk up and down that initial transient spike with the sample start point, it sounds just what a resonant low pass filter will do, at least gives you something to knob like you would a resonant cutoff knob

    you say daisy chain them, but what do you mean?
    thats a cool trick and I have that pedal will def give it a go!!

    • @MoabitWedding
      @MoabitWedding  Год назад

      If you have multiple effect pedals, you can connect them. E.g reverb pedal goes into a distortion pedal. This is called a daisy chain.

    • @hwitmore92
      @hwitmore92 Год назад +1

      @@MoabitWedding of course, how stupid of me! as the behringer has two inputs and outputs, could you further split the signal out from the delay, send one into another effect and the other straight to the mixer?

    • @MoabitWedding
      @MoabitWedding  Год назад

      If the pedal you are using sends the mono incoming singnal to both outputs (L/R) then yes. Its highly likely that both output channels have different signals, as they are probably supposed to be used as one stereo signal though. It would still work, but need some attention regarding panning.

  • @philippebackprotips

    How is the phase behaving? As the two sides are cancelling each other on the Volca Sample.

    • @MoabitWedding
      @MoabitWedding  5 лет назад +2

      Have had no issues at all. Even when the dry/wet on the pedal was not set 100% wet.

    I dont undersand, who can explain me?

    • @MoabitWedding
      @MoabitWedding  5 лет назад +13

      Sure. So the Volca Sample has a stereo output and each track/instrument has a pan/balance knob. When used in "normal mode" you can place each instrument where you want in the stereo image, anywhere between max left and max right. The idea is, to plug one side of the stereo out (For example left ) directly into your mixer. It will then be mono. You then plug the other side of the stereo out (for example right) into a EFX pedal/device and plug the output of your efx device into your mixer. Now - if you turn the pan/balance knob on any instrument of your volca sample, this will not move the sound in the stereo image from, but instead chnange the amount of the efffect. You can then send different amounts of signal for each track/instrument to your pedal. Example: You plug in a delay pedal. You can then send the bassdrum and snare only to the left (100% dry), the shaker and stab get a bit of delay added by turning the knob a bit to the right ( for example 30 % wet), and on that crazy vocal sample, you turn the knob all the way to the right (100% wet). This is basically how send/return busses work on mixers. Hope that helps?
