I don't hate Bramblestar, I hate the way they wrote him. He had such potential to become a good cat, who would fight to prove how wrong people were to compare him with his father. But instead, this flew OUT OF THE WINDOW after the first cycle and now he's just a jerk and I hate it :(
That’s true,I agree, but I think aswell what he did to squirrelflight and how he treated her was terrible, his personality changed a little bit after the 3rd arc, understandably. (I’m not being rude putting this, jst my opinion)
I know :( I was actually so excited when Bramblestar became leader, he seemed like such a good cat and leader, especially during Bramblestar's Storm. I wish he stayed that way. I don't get why he had to change so much for the worse..
My least favorite is probably Thistleclaw... I hated him from the start I'm not sure why people like him. Even if you don't consider Spottedleaf's Heart to be canon, I don't see what's to like about him. He encouraged Tigerpaw to be violent and he has like no character depth, he's just VIOLENT :/ I also don't like how his existence is basically the reason mosskit died, and the reason bluefur gave up her kits,, ughhh he just sucks why do people argue he's actually good before spottedleaf's heart? like okay. if you just liked him for being violent, that's one thing. liking a villain for doing villain things is fine. but liking him and then aurguing he is actually a good person???? like... what? did they not actually read the book or...? and honestly... I found him to be creepy even before spottedleaf's heart. sorry if that was a bit harsh btw. ik a lot of people still like thistleclaw....
I liked the tragedy of him missing his mate so much it made him bitter and violent, which resulted in him never being reunited with her. I thought the twisted irony of it was interesting, and I liked that you didn't necessarily have to kill anyone to be sent to the dark forest. Plus, we only ever saw him from Bluestar's very biased perspective. He didn't start out violent, Bluepaw just found him annoying. Readers hated him because Bluestar hated him, and while he did eventually turn bad, he was a well liked cat and clearly had some redeeming qualities (before losing Snowfur) that just didn't come accross in Bluefur's POV. Also Mosskit's death was not his fault. It was all on Bluefur for assuming that for some reason one of them had to become deputy. Sunstar never even considered him as an option. All Bluefur had to do was ask instead of giving her children up for political power. Of course the Erins decided (probably due to fan complaining) that bitterness wasn't enough of a reason to end up in the dark forest (unless you're Brightflower) and made him a pedo :/ I'm not a Thistle fan anymore (due to the pedo thing) but I do miss the character he used to be.
I don't mind Bluestar's mental issues. Those were understandable. What I do mind, however, is her giving up her children and getting one of them _killed_ to prevent Thistleclaw from becoming leader (which was never going to happen and she should have just asked Sunstar before assuming they were the only two options) only to be an overall not that great of a leader. She apprenticed Firepaw without assigning him a mentor. When Redtail died, Dustpaw got a new mentor, but after Lionheart's death Graypaw was just left to fend for himself. We spend book one going on and on about how apprenticing kits under 6 moons is bad. Then in book 2 she makes Cinderkit and Brackenkit (who were some of the same kits Shadowclan kidnapped in the previous book!) apprentices early, which results in a life altering injury for Cinderpaw. They were only half the litter, by the way! No wonder Brightpaw was sick of waiting!
My least favorites: Brokenstar- Pretty self explanatory. After finishing Yellowfang’s Secret, I wanted to punch him so bad Leopardstar- I just find her stubborn and irritating, and she didn’t do anything to prevent her own deputy from being killed by Blackstar Rainflower- Absolute worst mother in the series. Renamed poor Crookedkit after his broken jaw, called him an ugly mess, and showed blatant favoritism to his brother. Foxheart- Kind of an obscure one, but she was SO annoying. Was constantly rude to Yellowfang, and always tried to steal Raggedstar (Raggedstar was a bad mate but still). I was happy when she got killed off
My least favorite characters Squirrelflight: Shes just mad overrated and there is nothing interesting about her Thistleclaw: he’s a pedophile- Onestar: he was so nice and then just randomly became a jerk Rainflower: just reading about her made me mad

I have a head cannon that she slowly went mad the closer Brokenstar got to rising with the rest of the dark Forrest. The fact he could hurt cats even after she killed him made her lose it.
I only liked gray stripe in the first series. He felt like a cinnamon roll, except for in the second book, but in the second series, the one that I’m on no they completely switched him from being a cinnamon roll to a mean angry cat.
Thing is, I don't hate Bramblestar. I love him in the first 4 arcs and even a bit in AVoS. It's that he's since been written worse and worse. I refuse to acknowledge the existence of Squirrelflight's Hope because of how badly he written there.

I have never seen someone agree with me abt this BUT my least favorite character is Cloudtail Some reasons: 1- Still dosent believe in Starclan, LIKE BUDDY THIS CLAN IS ALL YOU REMEMBER 2- He ruined my fav ship (swiftxBright) 3- He’s always been rude and brushed off the warrior code (still does) 4- he had no character development other than being like “Omg I love u bright heart” (also only rlly started liking her after half her face got bitten off by a dog) 5- Never rlly appreciated things 6- They Erin’s had him be a big part in the books for 1-2 books then he disappeared 7- He never really communicated in the books with his kits
I don't really like Ravenpaw since he's so timid and emotional. No offense to ravenpaw fans, but he's also pretty weak. He probably wouldn't do so well with combat since he's too "nice". I personally hate Spottedleaf the most though, cause Spottedleaf's heart was the most traumatizing shit i've seen in a while. Plus, Spottedleaf is a p3do. 1:45 Oh yeah, and I don't hate him.

It's so disgusting to me because in one of the recent arc books, it was confirmed that the in-universe age of consent is when you become a warrior. It was confirmed that apprentice-warrior relationships are wrong. Dustpelt didn't just become mates with his niece - he was also a predator. He was visibly shown in The Prophecies Begin that he liked Fernpaw. Yuck.

Fire heart/star is my least favorite mostly due to him being kinda of a narc and he's just annoying and he becomes a horrible fella after he becomes leader ditching his morals for control and just i can go on and on (I'm sure I'm not the only person who hates him for the same reasons)
Blue star is my favorite I only don’t like for bidden love because in warrior cats, ultimate edition on Roblox people always like to do the role-plays with the forbidden love, but it’s so overused
Honestly I don’t really have a least favorite cat cuz I’m only on series 1 (I read the books in 4th-5th grade and then gave up somewhere around book 4 because I was such a slow reader). If I had to pick one though, it would probably be Spottedleaf. I always thought she was so overrated when she didn’t really do anything for the plot, and now that she has her own super edition, I’ve heard that the retconned personality they gave her was even worse than the bland one she had originally. As for my favorite cat though, I’ve always had a soft spot for Darkstripe and I can’t really explain why (mainly because I decided he was my favorite when I was 10 years old and I can’t remember why, but it’s kinda just stuck and even though every new thing I learn about him makes him seem a little more annoying and selfish, I still can’t let go of the sentiment of him being my childhood favorite).
I hate Raggedstar (I think that was his name? you know, Brokenstar's dad). I remember that, when I was reading the main series and learned about his death, I felt a little bad for the guy. I mean, imagine getting shanked by your own son because he wants to be a dictator. then I read Yellowfang's Secret though and... yeah, fuck him. he did this to himself and he was an asshole to his mate. fully deserved

It was never EVER stated that Blossomfall had ever had anything against Briarlight or held any judgement for her disability. The only judgement she held was against her mother. And don't try to argue that the only reason Millie neglected them was because she needed to give Briarlight care - not only is that not an excuse for abuse, but Briarlight was already receiving the care she needed. Millie wasn't experienced in medical care in the slightest and there was already a medicine cat (I'm pretty sure two actually) that was taking care of Briarlight. She neglected her other two kits out of choice, not because she was forced to.

I feel like nobody could not like Longtail. He really changed since the start. He isn't a willing and strong cat he used to be but a soft and caring cat who died chasing a mouse for Mousefur. He was a really good cat.
DOTC is the literal worst arc. Here's my reasons. 1. Tom. The fact that he can get away with abusing two women in his life and stealing his children and then the writers had the audacity to give this asshole a hero's death is SHOCKING, considering what some of the other characters' deaths were like. 2. Bumble. Not because she was bad - but because of how she was treated. She was being abused by Tom and sought refuge in Tall Shadow's group. Not only did they turn her away, but they just went on about how she was fat and weak. They turned away an abuse victim and bullied her. And Turtle Tail was there too - she did nothing about it, despite also being a former Tom abuse victim. She later was killed by Clear Sky and all Gray Wing (the same Gray Wing that everybody loves to death) could think was how brave Clear Sky was. She was a victim of abuse, xenophobia and fatphobia and the writers never acknowledged how bad that was. 3. Clear Sky. Won't go into detail about this, there's too much to cover. 4. Jagged Peak. The ableism he faced was disgusting. 5. The amount of sexism. I can't even cover it in one comment it's just so much

I also never got the impression that we were supposed to admire the way that Tom died. He was the one who brought One Eye into the camp in the first place, and he was defending his daughter not because he cared about her, but because he viewed his children as his possession. In his view, One Eye was hurting someone that belonged to him.

I still like Bluestar as a character she had ptsd and dementia and yes what Bluestar did to Brightheart is bad but if you blame her for that then you're blaming her for being unable to think rationally because she's got an absolutely horrible disorder to live with. I'm gonna blame Tigerstars and sorta Swiftpaw, Swiftpaw was dumb for going out of camp but he took Brightpaw at the time with him to help him which doesn't help much as they are both apprentices but still kinda smart as its better to go with someone than with no one if you're fighting TIGERSTARS big angry dogs.. Now the little bitch of a guy, Tigerstar this guy is the reason the dogs were even in Thunderclan territory in the first place HIS dogs attacked Brightpaw and Swiftpaw. The trap was an act of revenge for his exile and similar to Cinderpelts accident also caused by Tigerstar as it was originally planned for Bluestar, it's all Tigerstars fault and I hate him the most. Gorsepaw should be reincarnated prove me wrong.
I hate Graystripe not because of the forbid, but because he's been nothing but a jerk to Firestar. Took all of help for granted, and never once thanked him for always having his back. Firestar could have ratted Graystripe out at any time, but he never did, and Graystripe has never done anything but act in his own self-interest

Firestar is always the one going above and beyond for Graystripe (Covering for him with Silverstream, sneaking into RiverClan to save his children, etc) and Graystripe never thinks twice about it. Not to mention how Graystripe has witnessed Millie chastising Blossomfall and babying Briarlight when she was visibly uncomfortable with it before and never did anything to stop her Not saying you can't like Graystripe, but this is why I personally dislike him. He's done nothing but act only for himself

(Spoiler alert) He literally like took away cats from his father with like “I hate you” stuff judging his opinion and everything! He even hated his father because… his father loved a cat? I know Skystar abandoned Thunderstar when he was a kit but he thought it’s for good reasons! I just Hate Thunderstar more then you would ever think! Jagged Peak - Thunderstar Junior
Haven't read the super editions so... least favorite character is either Hawkfrost (for the reasons Ivypool screamed at him while shredding him), Breezepelt (because wtf why was he so LOYAL TO THE EVIL DARK FOREST), or Ashfur because what the h*** was he doing with Squirrelflight? WHAT THE H***?!)

Mine was darkstripe because he tried to kill sorriel'kit, I also don't really like spotted'leaf for one big reason, I feel like it would make more sense for red'tail to be fire'star's spirit guide because that's what the first arc was mainly about, solving red'tail's death and avenging it. Other than that she just got used too much, but she's ok I guess

Naming Brightheart ‘Lostface’ was very out of character.

I don't hate Bramblestar, I hate the way they wrote him. He had such potential to become a good cat, who would fight to prove how wrong people were to compare him with his father. But instead, this flew OUT OF THE WINDOW after the first cycle and now he's just a jerk and I hate it :(

My least favorite is probably Thistleclaw... I hated him from the start I'm not sure why people like him. Even if you don't consider Spottedleaf's Heart to be canon, I don't see what's to like about him. He encouraged Tigerpaw to be violent and he has like no character depth, he's just VIOLENT :/
I also don't like how his existence is basically the reason mosskit died, and the reason bluefur gave up her kits,, ughhh he just sucks why do people argue he's actually good before spottedleaf's heart? like okay. if you just liked him for being violent, that's one thing. liking a villain for doing villain things is fine. but liking him and then aurguing he is actually a good person???? like... what? did they not actually read the book or...?
and honestly... I found him to be creepy even before spottedleaf's heart.

i started reading bluestars prophecy and as soon as ‘thistlekit’ was born..
I liked the tragedy of him missing his mate so much it made him bitter and violent, which resulted in him never being reunited with her. I thought the twisted irony of it was interesting, and I liked that you didn't necessarily have to kill anyone to be sent to the dark forest.
Plus, we only ever saw him from Bluestar's very biased perspective. He didn't start out violent, Bluepaw just found him annoying. Readers hated him because Bluestar hated him, and while he did eventually turn bad, he was a well liked cat and clearly had some redeeming qualities (before losing Snowfur) that just didn't come accross in Bluefur's POV.
Also Mosskit's death was not his fault. It was all on Bluefur for assuming that for some reason one of them had to become deputy. Sunstar never even considered him as an option. All Bluefur had to do was ask instead of giving her children up for political power.
Of course the Erins decided (probably due to fan complaining) that bitterness wasn't enough of a reason to end up in the dark forest (unless you're Brightflower) and made him a pedo :/
I'm not a Thistle fan anymore (due to the pedo thing) but I do miss the character he used to be.

I don't mind Bluestar's mental issues. Those were understandable. What I do mind, however, is her giving up her children and getting one of them _killed_ to prevent Thistleclaw from becoming leader (which was never going to happen and she should have just asked Sunstar before assuming they were the only two options) only to be an overall not that great of a leader.
She apprenticed Firepaw without assigning him a mentor. When Redtail died, Dustpaw got a new mentor, but after Lionheart's death Graypaw was just left to fend for himself.
We spend book one going on and on about how apprenticing kits under 6 moons is bad. Then in book 2 she makes Cinderkit and Brackenkit (who were some of the same kits Shadowclan kidnapped in the previous book!) apprentices early, which results in a life altering injury for Cinderpaw. They were only half the litter, by the way! No wonder Brightpaw was sick of waiting!

My least favorites:
Brokenstar- Pretty self explanatory. After finishing Yellowfang’s Secret, I wanted to punch him so bad
Leopardstar- I just find her stubborn and irritating, and she didn’t do anything to prevent her own deputy from being killed by Blackstar
Rainflower- Absolute worst mother in the series. Renamed poor Crookedkit after his broken jaw, called him an ugly mess, and showed blatant favoritism to his brother.
Foxheart- Kind of an obscure one, but she was SO annoying. Was constantly rude to Yellowfang, and always tried to steal Raggedstar (Raggedstar was a bad mate but still). I was happy when she got killed off

3- He’s always been rude and brushed off the warrior code (still does)
4- he had no character development other than being like “Omg I love u bright heart” (also only rlly started liking her after half her face got bitten off by a dog)

6- They Erin’s had him be a big part in the books for 1-2 books then he disappeared
7- He never really communicated in the books with his kits

It's so disgusting to me because in one of the recent arc books, it was confirmed that the in-universe age of consent is when you become a warrior. It was confirmed that apprentice-warrior relationships are wrong.
Dustpelt didn't just become mates with his niece - he was also a predator. He was visibly shown in The Prophecies Begin that he liked Fernpaw. Yuck.

Honestly I don’t really have a least favorite cat cuz I’m only on series 1 (I read the books in 4th-5th grade and then gave up somewhere around book 4 because I was such a slow reader). If I had to pick one though, it would probably be Spottedleaf. I always thought she was so overrated when she didn’t really do anything for the plot, and now that she has her own super edition, I’ve heard that the retconned personality they gave her was even worse than the bland one she had originally. As for my favorite cat though, I’ve always had a soft spot for Darkstripe and I can’t really explain why (mainly because I decided he was my favorite when I was 10 years old and I can’t remember why, but it’s kinda just stuck and even though every new thing I learn about him makes him seem a little more annoying and selfish, I still can’t let go of the sentiment of him being my childhood favorite).

The most annoying thing he did was when he didn't let Yellowfang interact with Brokenstar. Then when he realises that he's been babying Brokentail his whole life and turned him into a monster (alongside letting the entire Clan abuse him), he has the audacity to turn to Yellowfang for help and refer to him as THEIR child, as if he ever let Yellowfang raise him.

What? Blossomfall wasn't mad about her disabled sister needing special care. She was mad that her mother had neglected her for most of her life. It was never EVER stated that Blossomfall had ever had anything against Briarlight or held any judgement for her disability. The only judgement she held was against her mother.
And don't try to argue that the only reason Millie neglected them was because she needed to give Briarlight care - not only is that not an excuse for abuse, but Briarlight was already receiving the care she needed. Millie wasn't experienced in medical care in the slightest and there was already a medicine cat (I'm pretty sure two actually) that was taking care of Briarlight. She neglected her other two kits out of choice, not because she was forced to.

DOTC is the literal worst arc. Here's my reasons.
1. Tom. The fact that he can get away with abusing two women in his life and stealing his children and then the writers had the audacity to give this asshole a hero's death is SHOCKING, considering what some of the other characters' deaths were like.
2. Bumble. Not because she was bad - but because of how she was treated. She was being abused by Tom and sought refuge in Tall Shadow's group. Not only did they turn her away, but they just went on about how she was fat and weak. They turned away an abuse victim and bullied her. And Turtle Tail was there too - she did nothing about it, despite also being a former Tom abuse victim. She later was killed by Clear Sky and all Gray Wing (the same Gray Wing that everybody loves to death) could think was how brave Clear Sky was.
She was a victim of abuse, xenophobia and fatphobia and the writers never acknowledged how bad that was.
3. Clear Sky. Won't go into detail about this, there's too much to cover.
4. Jagged Peak. The ableism he faced was disgusting.
5. The amount of sexism. I can't even cover it in one comment it's just so much

I also never got the impression that we were supposed to admire the way that Tom died. He was the one who brought One Eye into the camp in the first place, and he was defending his daughter not because he cared about her, but because he viewed his children as his possession. In his view, One Eye was hurting someone that belonged to him.

Now the little bitch of a guy, Tigerstar this guy is the reason the dogs were even in Thunderclan territory in the first place HIS dogs attacked Brightpaw and Swiftpaw. I hate Graystripe not because of the forbid, but because he's been nothing but a jerk to Firestar. Took all of help for granted, and never once thanked him for always having his back. Firestar could have ratted Graystripe out at any time, but he never did, and Graystripe has never done anything but act in his own self-interest

@@SkiggsMoDiggs I guess. Still, he wasn't doing it just for himself. He was blind for love, if that makes sense. Plus, in the rest of the books, he was a great friend, and probably helped shape Firestar's character. But, you do you.
@@A_randomperson_on_the_internet That's fine for you to think that, but the thing that gets me is how Graystripe never once apologizes to Firestar for acting like a jerk towards him, or even THANKS him for all of his help later on. Firestar is always the one going above and beyond for Graystripe (Covering for him with Silverstream, sneaking into RiverClan to save his children, etc) and Graystripe never thinks twice about it. Not to mention how Graystripe has witnessed Millie chastising Blossomfall and babying Briarlight when she was visibly uncomfortable with it before and never did anything to stop her
Not saying you can't like Graystripe, but this is why I personally dislike him. He's done nothing but act only for himself
I love graystripe and nothing will change my mind. And he does care about other people besides himself he went into the darkforest to help the clans and lost his life to ashfur just to dilver a message from Squirrelflight to him. I do understand why you hate him though

I know Skystar abandoned Thunderstar when he was a kit but he thought it’s for good reasons! I just Hate Thunderstar more then you would ever think!

Mine was darkstripe because he tried to kill sorriel'kit, I also don't really like spotted'leaf for one big reason, I feel like it would make more sense for red'tail to be fire'star's spirit guide because that's what the first arc was mainly about, solving red'tail's death and avenging it. Other than that she just got used too much, but she's ok I guess

Although I agree she was very cruel to do that, it isn’t something Bluestar would do, so it was due to her mental health problems. I think it’s also bad on the Erins behalf, because they never gave Bluestar a chance to apologise, which would’ve been great, since that is in character for her. Naming Brightheart ‘Lostface’ was very out of character.
