Russia is moving so fast and from so many different directions there is a very high chance of friendly fire not to mention encircled Ukrainian troops using false Russian flags to sneak their way out. Unit flags are difficult to fake and a better verification. This is different from most of the war when the movement has been glacial. Faster movement brings up its own challenges especially in an environment where EW is probably blocking radios.

Neither Ukraine nor most European countries have the technical or personnel capabilities to use long-range missiles. The use of long-range missiles would mean direct US involvement in the conflict from Ukrainian territory
Germany has such Capabilities btw....but I'm glad we don't use them. I would love to see my Country taking sides with Russia and the BRICS Countries and stop supporting all the US wars and proxy wars.

About the risk of friendly fire: this was called "curtain of fire" in WWII, when troops advance against trenches or other fortified positions, artillery can prevent the opponents from shooting, so there is a choice of risks: less risk of enemy fire, more risk of friendly fire. WWII procedure was to precede the attack with a trial fire, and the batteries making mistakes were silenced. These days the targeting is much more reliable, but mistakes from inexperience or battle confusion (think about typos when you type next to explosions) are possible, but experienced artillery can change a reckless attack to a reasonable one.
USA should be more concerned about their bases and assets throughout the world than about Ukraine (which they probably are) when it comes to long range strikes into Russia.

One guy came to my plumbing company they gave him 25 p/h off the bat because he had so much experience in never working as plumber but even better is 2 months after working with us he one day quit because he found a job in another company hvac and plumbing company which gave him 35 p/h, good job America, thank you for being so thoughtful to the immigrants

Zelensky said he was raising a million man army. Maybe he did, but he did not maintain that number. He wasted so many of those lives on near suicidal offensives, so now UKR only has about a third of that number (300-400K is what western sources say).
The tables have turned. In 2022 UKR outnumbered Russian forces by two or three to one. Russia had a massive advantage in artillery fire power and still do, but could not hold the entire front line of over 1000km. They simply did not have enough troops deployed. UKR did have enough troops, so forced Russia to retreat from Kherson and Izium etc.
But now Russia has raised the number of personal in its army to 1.5 million with about half that involved in the SMO. They take losses, but seem to be able to maintain that 1.5 million number. Now it's UKR who is outnumbered by about 2:1 on average. Combined with Russia's other advantages, UKR is being overwhelmed and they've been losing land every day for months now. They will most probably lose their Kursk salient too, because a salient can very easily become a cauldron.
I expect desperate attempts from NATO trying to force Russia to make a deal for a ceasefire and freeze if the front line collapses in Donbas. I am not sure NATO has the leverage to force Russia into doing that though. More sanctions or approving long range missiles are not going to make Russia bend the knee.
Leverage over Zelensky is a problem too. If he makes territorial concessions to Russia, the UKR ultra nationalists will be after his blood. That Bandera crowd dream of UKR über alles, UKR for Ukrainians, i.e., a mono-ethnic nation state, and a final defeat for Moscow causing Russia to break up. Yes, they are crazy. The best thing Zelensky can do for his family and saving his own skin is run to the hills and then make his way to his cushy little mansion in Florida.
What I worry about is NATO giving UKR some low yield nukes trying to force Russia to a ceasefire. I am not sure it would work, but drastic measures seem to be something NATO is prepared to risk.
As long as it does not blow up too badly and become a wider war, Raytheon and Thales share prices will keep climbing. Those sort of companies are making a killing on this war. The entire western world is spending money on weapons due to the tensions, even though their other industries are suffering from high energy costs etc. A cynical person might say it's all quite deliberate (I think its more a case of taking advantage of a crisis the west manufactured and wanting to milk that cash cow for as long as they can).
Which would you rather have, a million-man army, or a thousand-man army and you keep the pay for the rest?
@@rilmehakonen9688 I have heard of that scandal. I have also heard of contracts being signed for the building of defences, money being paid, but then the defences only exist on paper. UKR was recently rated the most corrupt country in Europe. It's held that crown for quite a while. It appears to be a well deserved accolade.
The other thing I heard of is war dead not being reported, so the compensation money does not go to families, but remains in the pockets of corrupt officials.
I think whatever remains of UKR will have a day of reckoning. The cases that are proved will probably result in angry reprisals etc. They do come up with creative punishments, e.g., the hundreds of videos of poor souls tied naked to lampposts to be beaten up by angry Bandera babushkas etc. Quite medieval and barbaric really. But they say the 'Moskals' are the orcs. How ironic huh?

The longer the war lasts, the less Banderites with military training and experience. Their places are being taken by normal conscripts who are much less willing to hold the ground and more open to retreating/ deserting/surrendering. This will accelerate collapse exponentially. Without wild eyed Banderites, the Ukraine govt can much more easily change its political route. So the mathematical question is when, at the present rate of 200/300s, ultranationalist personnel will become insufficient in numbers to exercise effective offense or defense, and start losing grip of their own troops...

Vanilla Cupcake Recipe
Ingredients:
For the cupcakes:

Instructions:
Cupcakes:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 12-cup muffin tin with cupcake liners.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together using a hand mixer or stand mixer until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Then mix in the vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Start and end with the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about ⅔ full.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Frost the cooled cupcakes using a piping bag or a spatula. Decorate with sprinkles if desired.
