    Great video, nice build, the only thing I might do different is to use all stainless steel fittings, no brass, use 45’ elbow and maybe think about a short riser behind ball valve as well to give more of a grip instead of right on top of ball valve. 👌

    Fyi - Lowes has a lot of misc. Sch 80 fittings, but Not in the plumbing department. I recently stumbled across them and Yes they have an entire section dedicated to sch 80 fittings Perfect for soft wash builds. No more Amazon or ordering from out of town supply shops for triple the price. For those interested where they are located.....Simply invest 2 mins in research and then go shopping at your local Lowes.

    Hey Tim I just got my Titian hose reel in so I can start setting up my soft wash system. But I have a few questions. How should I connect my 1/2 flexilla house to my reel?

    • @ExpertPowerWash
      @ExpertPowerWash  4 года назад

      I’m running my hose from my pump through the reel. Some will say to cam lock it using Banjo cam locks. I haven’t had any problems with running it through the reel. If it’s not stainless, I’d use the reel for storage only. Use 1/2 stainless fittings if connecting to the reel. Hope this helps.

  • @NouriGains
    @NouriGains 3 года назад +1

    Can you use a soft wash wand with a pressure washer if you set the PSI lower? Instead of the barb could you install a female quick connect to attach it to the 3/8" pressure line? Would that work or am I delusional ? I am running a 420cc simpson 4 gpm pressure washer

    • @ExpertPowerWash
      @ExpertPowerWash  3 года назад +1

      I’ve never tried it. In theory maybe. I prefer to just nozzle down and use a good stout gun. I switch nozzles and I’m back to high pressure. With a softwash gun, you couldn’t do that.

    Whats the advantage to this vs a regulate Gilmour gun with QC on it?

    • @ExpertPowerWash
      @ExpertPowerWash  3 года назад +1

      It comes down to personal preference. This one works well. The ball valve can be cracked open but I guess you can do that with a garden nozzle as well. Not sure if it gets more reach or not.

      It’s the same coupler as the 1/2 one, it’s just curved at a 45 degree angle. Look up my soft wash guns video. One of the guns has that fitting. I believe they are schedule 80. You can probably find them locally. My Home Depot did not have any.
