I was about the Boss's level when I fought them. They cloned themselves so many god damn times, everybody I was using leveled up twice, and the enemies were fittingly giving me 666 EXP per guy.

Can't beat Mythra slapping Rex into the screen and it shatters, beginning the fight. Though this one is close, especially when you factor in the part where Rex says he loves her too...and then proceeds to show how oblivious he is and says he loves all of them.

You can never tell with these things) and still trudges on knowing full well she'll never win. Hell, she even shoves Rex towards the girls in the very last cutscene to give him the push he needed to approach them.
I think Nia realized who Rex is, and somewhat knew that he would take it like that, so she laughs. Though she really hoped she could love him without it being one sided :/

Lars Rex is a pretty good character imo. It's his *voice actor* that people hate (and honestly, he isn't even that bad. He's decent in scenes where they're just talking calmly, it's when he tries to act all battle-driven that he holds back (mainly the screams)).

Honestly, this boss is not hard, but it's a damn confusing one. I see some people saying you have to drain each of their health then use a chain attack, but something tells me I just had to keep killing them until they stopped multiplying, cause that's what was happening for me.
You're supposed to ensure there's never one alone, otherwise Multus will trigger and he'll duplicate. What I assume happened is that when you beat your last one, the other one remaining died to the party before Multus finished

Just a tip that helped me, if you have a knockdown move, use it near the ledge and knock them down to the poison water stuff and they’ll all die slowly lol
I think I both love and hate this game. The difficulty spikes make me quite it for LONG periods of time then I come come back and have to reremember how to play it and what's happening again! XDXDXD

No, the goal isn’t to kill them at the same time. When the boss gets down to their last 25% of hp(I think that’s the range) they can use multus. That’s how they duplicate and they can only do it once per phantasam. The goal is to try and kill each one before it can copy it self by doing chain attacks, driver combos and blade combos

If you ever want to beat this boss easily. Get all clones down to low health, then use an AoE in a chain attack to finish them all.
