- Hey guys!! Welcome back to another video! Sorry for being so inactive last semester l, my goal is to be much more active this time, so feel free to give suggestions on what you want to see! This is my dorm tour of my shared room in one of the Nike residence halls at UCF. Hopefully this helps anyone trying to take a look at this!!

Hey! Do we need lamps for our rooms or is there light already in the room (can we change the bulbs?)
There are lights in the room but you can’t change them. They’re pretty crappy lights in my opinion so I would get a lamp if you want a specific lighting!
Hey girl ! I had a quick question, are you allowed to put whatever you want in the little hallway ? Like a table and fridge if you want ?
Tbh they say not to put anything out in the hallway but I knew someone that had a little table and chairs in theirs and nobody said anything to them so I would that that would be ok. For a fridge though, I would just recommend keeping it in your room like under your bed or in your closet
Hi! what did you use to hang up your frames/posters? I don’t want to puncture the walls or anything with push pins
I used command strips and command hooks!
How strict is ucf on how much stuff i can put on the walls to decorate
They aren’t super strict about it but it depends on what you’re trying to put up. The rule is that as long as it’s only about 20% of the wall filled you’re ok I believe
We’re the beds already raised that high when you moved in?
Yes!! If you’re room allows it! My bed was raised to maximum height when I got there!
Are dorms available also for first year students?
Yes! So there are actually some dorms about campus that are specifically for freshman,(Apollo,Libra) and I think they’re opening lake Claire to upper class men but it was originally for first years as well! At the time of this video I was actually considered a first year even though I already had a two year degree!

I mainly used command strips and hooks
Honestly overall I found that the hooks took off a bit of paint and the strips didn’t take off anything but I didn’t get charged for anything so
