Honestly, I really like dorm move in videos. I like the decorations and all the stuff but I would be genuinely pissed if someone would arrange more than half of the space for themselves and put giant pink rug in between bed's so I couldn't put mine. It's great when roommates know each other and decide together, but If it's random girl that would move in after you and does not match your aesthetic... yikes.

@@BrooklynChrisman that’s really great, and I said it. It’s amazing when roommates know each other and plan together, I’m just saying if someone didn’t know their roommate beforehand and took that much space that would be awkward and bold. That was just an observation. I didn’t mean to offend you or something.

I chose the entrepreneurship LLC, because I knew I would be placed in a dorm that would be closer to the business school! I would also check out the Miami parents Facebook group, because a lot of them have good insight on what LLC to choose based on your major! (dm me on instagram if you want more help)

I hate mattresses toppers. Believe it or not my college mattress was way more comfortable than the one i had at home while I was in college. I am also not picky about mattresses as long as they are not worn out. I graduated from college back in 2018. I have moved out away from home as well.
I wish mine was that comfortable -- it would’ve saved so much space when moving in!

I haven't heard of McKee, I know it's the western side of campus. Western is a little more of a hike to places than the east or north quad, but the West quad is more scenic!

Yes it’s a great location on campus especially if you are a business major! It’s a very short walk to Farmer! It’s about a 12 minute walk uptown!

Daughter will be a freshman this year...how did you hang the coat rack that the robes are on? Did you hook an over-the-door rack right onto the rail that they provide?
In the dorms at Miami University, we have trim on the wall that we hang everything from with s hooks! I think it is meant for over the door! But it worked to hang from the trim!
