Chinese New Year is closer to Christmas in the Christian world than New Year in the West. So compare Chinese New Year to Christmas and you will have an easier time understanding it.

Anyone calls himself an expat is just having himself on. No such thing as expat but merely a guest worker (gust arbeiter in German) who lives on the well being of the host nation.
Expat means that they are getting paid higher than local people doing the similar job...nothing new...and no need to make huha...
if that is what expat is, so, how come Indians and Chinese IT experts working in silicon valley in US are not know as expats but migrant workers.
US is a Anglo-Saxon country, I believe u know what it means.
Is there really such a thing as a "national border", just guys with guns trying to prevent people who can do their job for less ? After we forced the "national land" from the natives?
What's a host "nation" but guys with guns fabricating an artificial political border?
