I see the first commentor asked my question.
I've heard discussions that call Jupiter a "failed" star and I guess that could be what the author is meaning.
I don't want to pick apart a good story that was intended for entertainment so I'm not going to be overly critical.
Keep up the good work and keep writing your stories, this one is better than most.

Good story but if the ancient humans left the galaxy when they first saw the harvesters and left a 10 mile long ship for future humans to fight them.. why didnt they just use it at the time, there would've been less of them 😂

I'm beginning to believe these stories are written by AI. Up until the last story I listened to, the biggest error I'd heard was female characters were occasionally referred to as male.
The last one had a rescue force enter an enemies secret base in an asteroid and leave the base on a planet.
Now our solar system has gained a red dwarf star, oops!
I think it's time humans stepped in and start correcting the errors. Like make the AI figure out and way to beat the aliens with another plan than adding a star to our solar system.
Also triggering a Supernova within the solar system would destroy all life here including the aliens.
Nope can't do it. This piece of fiction isn't logical or possible or believable and I can suspend disbelief for pretty much any movie, but I draw my line in the sand here.
