- I thought I could just bring a piece of furniture into the Living Room and just move one piece of furniture without having a mess!

“If you give a mouse a cookie”……moving a new piece in always requires several changes you hadn’t planned on. I love the new arrangement. Kudos to the queen of decorating outside the box.

The new arrangement looks great. You are lucky to be able to move your large pieces around, the way our living room is, there isn’t another way to style things.

I just love the way you styled everything Susan! Only one thing I would change and that would be the light over your dining table cause to me it screams modern compared with all your prim furnishings. Maybe it is just me . . .❤
So nice Susan - love the new cabinet a lot! My hubby and I gifted each other an 1800's dry sink for our 25th wedding anniversary - oak in walnut stain with all the old cabinet knobs and pulls and zinc liner and a hutch on top...my favorite piece ever.🥰

I use sheets of painted cardboard behind my mantle and change out for the season...green for spring and summer, on the other side, black for fall and winter. Also have a piece with peel and stick brick on one side, peel and stick shiplap on the back side. Just slde in for new looks easily.

With all those awesome things, its a great mess to have😁 Its no fun without making a mess anyways😄 Ohhh goodness the cabinet is gorgeous & love how you styled it, with all those beautiful things❤ Makes me miss my step back cupboard, although it was already styled & filled up, i enjoyed adding things & tweeking things.. it brought me lots of joy😊 Mine is black & real chippy! One of the hinges on the upper doors was broken so we took them off. I want to put them back on so i can leave them open and hang things on them. But we're in the process of possibly moving to Tampa and we're here now for several wks til we find out for sure. So my cupboard is back home, there in Tennessee, stored.🫤 I like the crack in the dough bowl too, it really does give it character! And it shows how used & well loved it was! If we stay in Tennessee i hope to make it over that way, to shop your booth.. and some others. I love collecting old side or dining chairs to sit around for decor..i love any wood pieces, like the stool, its precious! Wow love the tin collection! I want to start collecting them, i just have a few right now. I just need some more cabinets, i want a hutch for sure. And there's others I'd love to have, instead of just shelves. Wow thats an old quilt rack!! I'll just come shop your house😄 Obsessed with the horse! I use to own 2 real Appaloosa horses.. one was black & white, the other red & white. I need some more whisk brooms, can't find them 🤷♀️ Susan its all just stunning! I just love it all!! We not supposed to covet but girl i just about can't help myself!! We were looking for A mantle but i was gifted a beautiful electric fireplace for Christmas last year and it has shelves and everything, just gorgeous.. I've loved decorating it! Ok i'm going to hush.. your home just excites me!!😁 Thank always for sharing!!

You remind me so much of me. Your taste is almost exactly like mine except for a few things here and there. Your house is decorated like mine.
