    Everyone is talking like 37 you need a Walker to get around the dudes in phenomenal shape. He can play gold glove defence and he’s still able to hit the ball out of the park so what do we worried about? We made it to the World Series without a first baseman now we have a gold glove defender there that can still hit the ball so what’s the issue?

    Gary Sheffield Jr. I agree with you almost all the time . We are definitely a far better ball club. We have the makeup very similar to the 90s we will have nobody other than Judge hitting 50 homeruns but everyone will be at about anywhere from 16- 30 home runs and that will give us balance in our lineup like the 90s and that combined with the pitching will have us win close to 114 games and be dominant. Other teams with have to have the lead in the 7th inning or their chances of winning

    49:47 so 100 games is a long enough sample size to determine if Oswaldo is a starter or not but 2 seasons and 1,000+ at bats isn’t enough to determine Volpe isn’t a major league caliber hitter?

    Jazz is playing out of position over there. We had enough of that last year he instantly makes the team better by going to 2nd. Get a real 3rd baseman over there and you’re done!

    This is not good news for NYY fans: coulda stuck with Rizzo and hoped for a healthy 2025. This is just a punt, as was Bellinger, so spare us Arenado, too. I expect to see more of Ben Rice this year, which is not necessarily a good thing, either. All are erratic or washed up. With the (possible) exception of Fried and Williams, I'll be the contrarian and admit I'm not thrilled with how this post-Sosa haul is going. You?

    Don’t sleep on Ben Rice… Goldschmidt could be a great stop gap for a good, young natural hitter in Rice. A platoon of Goldschmidt/Rice could be a conducive recipe for success. Tell me the last time any of you hit 3 home runs in a game… in the big leagues nonetheless..

    Goldy has experience. He's a great glove. For the length of contract and dollars Goldy is a better deal. Walker got 3 yrs at more AAV. Its a 1 yr deal.

      Jones needs two more years before he is ready. He struck out 36 to 40 percent of the time at double a hitting only .265 with about 16 to 18 homers over a full season. Dude is not ready.

      Because you need to perform well in the minor leagues before you’re stopping any organization from signing a proven super star.
      Proven stars are better than hopeful stars and Spencer Jones will not be a star, either. Potential to just be a good player in this league. Has proven nothing at any level of baseball.

      Two years removed from an MVP. And since when is 37 bad for baseball. Ortiz arguably had his best season at age 40. Nelson Cruz was great till 42. Yuli is 40 still playing well. Paul O’Neil was 38 on the 2000 Yankees. Jeter hit 212 hits at 38. So please explain how a 37 year old 1 year rental a bad move? You clearly never swung a bat past little league little man
