You hit it right about our very own prejudices or racistic tendencies. They start in the early ages as handed down by adults, then magnified as one goes to the well known elitist schools or other institutions. I experienced it, and it took me to realize these bad tendencies thru travels and knowing different histories and cultures.

I shifted course to Nursing to another university since ADMU didn't have if. Anyway, during ny short stint in Ateneo, I observed that they indoctrinate all their students. There was one subject, I forgot what it was, it was like NSTP/community service where all students were required to watch a long documentary film which paints the Marcos' as evil and corrupt. On the other hand, it paints the Aquinos' as heroes. I remember my bandmates who are true blue, ateneans from kinder until college, grabe and indoctrination nila. Kahit anong sabihin mo, hindi talaga sila makapagbigay ng objective opinion. From Kinder until College, ganyan ka-radical ang pagbrainwash sa kanila. Same goes with Miriam na kapitbahay ng Ateneo. Eto na lang bros, compare the one-on-one interviews of Noynoy Aquino with Marcos Jr. dyan palang malalaman nyo na kung sino ang may laman ang utak, sinong nakakaintindi sa nagpapanggap lang na may alam. Sinong mas may sustansya ang mga sagot.
Whats so good about lakay? Sa loob ng dalawang dekadang pamumuno niya, lahat ay bumagsak. Sa palitang dolyar-peso, ekonomiya, edukyasyon, moralidad. Ang tumaas lang ay ang kahirapan at ang mga bangkay.
